Not really a fan. It makes far more sense to have conferences based, largely, on geography. The Big 10 has a Midwest feel, so it’ll be weird having East and now west coast schools in it

But it’s better than being left behind like the Big 12 and PAC 12 will be.

The ongoing negotiations for the television rights to the B1G just got incredibly more interesting and profitable for everyone involved.

Likely that Notre Dame is paying attention as well.

The implications for the playoffs are... odd. It's starting to get to the point where it makes more sense for the 2 megaconferences to have a playoff and then the champs play in a Super Bowl.

I think that conference (as well as the Big-12) have already destructed, but the impact was so limited literally no one noticed...
