2022 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yea The Big Ten might be the weakest conference this year depending on how you think about it.

At the VERY top? No, obviously not.

But 2-5 or 6? I'd say so. Even the lowly ACC appears to have better teams in those spots with FSU, NC State, Pitt, and Wake.

OSU, Penn State, and Michigan can hang with every other conference's top-3 in my opinion, including the SEC.

After that it drops off VERY quickly. Who's the #4 team? Maryland, Minnesota, or... Illinois?

I dunno. I feel our QB play is dead last after OSU, and that makes a big difference.

I wouldn't count on Penn State beating, say, UCLA or NC State.

I think they can handle UCLA but NC State at a neutral site is probably a two point spread either way at most.

I get what you mean, our QB talent after Stroud is not great.

I think on any given day either of OSU or Michigan could beat Alabama or Georgia. I think on any given day Penn State could beat Tennessee. Our 4th team stands no chance against Ole Miss, Kentucky, etc. though.

I definitely don't feel this way about MIchigan.

They just can't hang offensively with both the style they play with and the QB development.

They can beat OSU in a rivalry game setting here and there, but at a neutral site I can't see them hanging with those two other teams with the talent disparity at the skill positions and the way the rules work now to favor throwing the ball.

The Big Ten has got to up its QB talent after OSU.

Right now Taugavoila feels like the 2nd best QB in the conference. And that's not very good.

He'd be like, the 6th or 7th best QB in the SEC right now.

Mizzou really needed to get that touchdown

That's gonna come back to bite them.

Georgia looks like a stinky poo for the second week in a row.

Even without JSN and Tre, OSU is good enough to win a national championship

did anyone really think uga would lose?
