2022 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Penn State is gonna be up 1 point and there's not a doubt in the world Michigan has been the WAY better team.

Sometimes it be like that.

I don’t see anything about either team here that makes me think OSU won’t handle them.

Eh. Michigan has looked very good. Dominating the line of scrimmage on both sides. McCarthy can make throws most in the Big Ten can't.

That score right now is flukey.

They can't throw downfield worth a shit and their defense isn't nearly as good as it was last year, but they are definitely a good team. The best we will face before the postseason for sure.

I'd say they lack big play WRs and that's their big issue.

But they smoked OSU last year just blowing them up the middle and they're still real good at that.

For sure.

Still would be worried, definitely, about MIchigan just being able to run on OSU all night.

Penn State, less worried about after seeing how badly their defensive line is getting dominated in this game.

I doubt Michigan will be able to keep up with OSU’s offense this year.

They’re a good team, never thought otherwise.

I don’t know man, it’s nice and entertaining that PSU found a means of lingering for a while linger for a bit longer but I’ve come to terms with

-Corum being an elite player
-UM’s offensive line execution is really clean
-It’s a really dangerous offense with McCarthy being a threatening runner
-PSU’s defense doesn’t look real enough - they’re getting blown back literally every play except two TFL

PSU literally can’t sustain a drive; the Clifford run was fun but if they want to stay in it in the second half they need to actually sustain.

I won’t lie Michigan scares me plenty - even with us being at home. They’re absolutely top 5 imo.

PSU is trash. I literally cannot fathom how Clifford is still a starter. If Michigan is so elite they should start annihilating some of these lesser teams I’d imagine.

I honestly think it’s as simple as Franklin not having the balls to sit him

Let me ask you, would there have been ANYTHING you could have seen in this game that'd make you think either team was good?? :chuckle: :chuckle:

I like how our defense has improved against the run. If Henderson and Williams are both healthy by The Game, I think we will outrush them this year. Day cares more about the win than Stroud's Heisman campaign. I am worried about whether our CBs will keep up against a high-talent QB, though, which is not a problem against Penn State.

This game, not really… but like I said I already know Michigan is good. I’m not going to suck them off like you will, though. Being elite is a high bar.

This Ohio State team is night and day from last year. I’m hesitant to go all in on them as the competition has been weak… but even against weak opponents the defense was getting gashed last year.

Sorry, just don’t see UM coming into Columbus and beating them. Unless they’re bringing another blizzard with them.

Our run defense is so much better than it was last year, though. I just can't see OSU letting Michigan run all over them again.

Though, I do wonder if Michigan is saving McCarthy's legs for The Game. He looks pretty damn dynamic as a runner. Having to deal with read options between him and Corum would be really tough. If I was Michigan that would be the core of my gameplan.
