2022 Minor League Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Do you think Planez and Rodriguez will end up stayin in Cleveland's organization? I believe both can be taken in the Rule 5. I mean its hard to believe guys will be taken from A ball, but we have seen it before.

Nobody is going to stash either of those guys for a full season, they're nowhere near ready for something like that.

Santander was a stash after he was slated to miss the upcoming season, don't think anyone is taking the risk here.

Is anyone driving the Petey Halpin train, or can I get that train going?

The future power is coming.
Great train to be driving. He's really raking lately. 20 years old in AA seem likely as he won't even turn 21 until late May.

We are just so fuggin STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKED

Lot of domestic minor league releases and minor leaguers being moved to the 60 day IL in the last week (and therefore not counting towards the 180 domestic player max).

Read the room, people.

Does this mean some 2022 draft picks are going to start being assigned?

Eichhorn got released on his 25th birthday, ouch. Liked him back in the draft, but he missed most of his career to injuries....

Any idea where DeLauter will find himself on our top 30 list?

8th or 9th, depending on NoJo's status as a prospect or graduating...

I think he starts under Jones, if Jones doesn't graduate so he may not get top 10... That being stated a strong 23 at A Ball to maybe AA, would cause him to jump up pretty quickly.

Isn't a forgone conclusion that Jones and Freeman are going to lose their prospect status? You think they'll be sent back to Columbus prior to their 45 days of service on the 26 man?

See I am not sure... I don't like the ABs guys are getting so moving one down for someone else wouldn't be 100% out of the question. Like I wouldn't mind seeing Arias and Freeman swapped and Brennan and Jones swapped in all honesty. Getting most of the guys at AAA a look without using up their service time ya know?

Both are borderline.. Jones closer to passing, freeman closer to not.. either way, the prospect listing, for what little it's worth, should see DeLauter in the top dozen or better w/r to prospect listing.. He's worthy, especially if he can get/stay healthy..
