The CLE affiliates are motoring along despite a handful of injuries and occasional struggles. A combined 32-16 (& +31 run diff) over the past 2 weeks has pushed the overall combined record to 89-68 with a +80 run diff on this season. Only Lake County has a sub .500 record (18-20) but it also has the best team ERA at 3.53
A quick run thru the rest of the minor league reports puts CLE affiliates with the 5th best record overall (behind the ChiCubs, LA Dodgers, Milwaukee, & Minnesota). They are 1 game ahead of Colorado...

Onto the Week 8 games and most the CLE affiliates are at home this week.

AAA: Columbus (27-15) hosts Buffalo (24-17, Toronto affiliate)
AA: Akron (23-16) hosts New Hampshire (17-21, Toronto affiliate)
High A: Lake County (18-20) visits Peoria (17-22, St. Louis affiliate)
Low A: Lynchburg (21-17) hosts Columbia (11-28, KC Royals affiliate)

Here's hoping Myers can shut my trap.

Lake County should start seeing increased attendance with Bibee on the hill.. heading toward "can't miss" baseball...

Akron with the same record as the Astros.

Well it was a good night for the CLE affiliates. The group goes 3-1 with a run diff of +17...
For a moment there it seemed like there would be history made in Lynchburg. Unfortunately the Hillcat no-no was broken up with 2 out in the 8th inning. A great outing none the less by Will Dion and Juan Zapata up to that point.

More good performances by Hillcat pitchers tonight.
A combined 15 Ks by Jake Miller & Jack Leftwich over 9 innings tonight. It appears they did a piggy-back tonight.
Game is tied at 1 in the bottom of the 9th at the moment...

Akron scores six in the first and leads 9-6 after six.

The big news is that Pries is only a single away from the cycle.

Another solid night by the CLE affiliates as they go 2-2 with a run diff of +5.
This makes the group 5-3 on the week with a run diff of +22

I wonder how long the org will stick with Bradley.

Tonight he had three more Ks. On the season combined he has five hits in 62 PAs and a staggering 26 Ks.

Since moving up to AAA in 2018, he has had 1076 PAs and K'd 373 times.

He is 26 yrs old, and there is absolutely nothing that indicates that he will ever be able to hit a baseball.

If Ted Stephen was still around, maybe he would take Bradley off our hands for his softball team.

Yeah he's been incredibly bad. You have to feel for the young man. He's never been this bad and I can't imagine the bad place he's in mentally right now.

Maybe they need to send him back down to essentially Arizona/A Ball to rework his swing, mental approach etc and then call him back up in the second half to AAA?
