Maybe they need to send him back down to essentially Arizona/A Ball to rework his swing, mental approach etc and then call him back up in the second half to AAA?

That's fair, but it's not like he has every been a problem and he does work hard. I think maybe having him take a step back, rework his confidence and mental self, would be the best thing for the young man going forward.

Lots of kids who haven't been a problem don't end up ever seeing MLB. Many don't even last in pro ball past 25 yrs old.

The all time career HR leader at tOSU is Dan Seimitz. I knew him and his Dad. Great people. His entire pro career consisted of 69 games in the Independent League....because he couldn't hit.

I guess you could argue that he never really was given a chance...

Bradley is now in his fourth year of not being able to hit upper level professional pitchers. He's had his chance(s).

Nice guy or not, its time for somebody else to get that chance.

Good point. They did that with someone else a few years ago and for the life of me I can't remember who it was. Chisenhall maybe?

Although sometimes guys just need a fresh start in a new organization.

Rain has started in Akron in bottom of the 4th. Play continues at the moment.

Edit: gm now entering the top of the 6th. Akron still leads 2-0 but it’s now official if rain returns.
Cantillo done after 5 IP. He pitched very well. Only 1 hit & 1 walk allowed.

So far Bo Naylor 0-3 at the plate but solid in calling/ framing for Joey C

I heard it was his medicials that caused him not to be added to the 40 man... if he stays healthy, he will do something in the bigs.
