In another 100-120 PAs, Valera should be in Columbus, too.

AA is a good test for a prospect and Valera has been looking good lately as well. He will finish the season at AAA, but if he keeps this up and we aren't in the playoff hunt, I think he will get to see a few MLB at bats.

Went 2-4, HR and 3 RBIs last night with a .309/.385/.556 slash in May so far...

Let's keep the first wave of promotions going. Get rid of the roster filler starting pitching in Columbus. Bring up Cantillo. Then move up Williams.

I'd move up Valera in another week if he continues to MASH. Allow him to taste AAA with his hot bat still hot.

Move up Tolentino.

By the way, is NO ONE in Lake County going to hit this year? Noel has tanked, Halpin. Even Gabby Rodriguez has started to sag after an incredible start. Bracho, that ship is sailing. Angel Martinez deserves a promotion just because he's the only one in Lake County who has been able to hit anything.

You are too worried about the LC guys. They will come around and if they don't, then oh wellz

Uh oh - Reid Johnston(Lynchburg) pulled after 0.2IP - no runs scored.. Hope he's OK.

Better question: Why was George Valera removed from the Akron game tonight??
Lots of weird stuff tonight.

Gavin Williams removed after 3.2 innings, dealing and only at 60 pitches. Draper started the game for CBus retired 1 batter on 4 pitches and his night was over.. I assume I missed some rain delays or something.

Valera left after being thrown out at home plate , maybe an injury?
Williams pulled after 60 pitches.

I was at the Ducks game, but I didn't stay to watch Valera removed. It was drinks time.

Rocchio was hit on the shin and was awfully pained but rallied and stayed in the game.
Saw Luis Oviedo pitch and I can fully understand why Pittsburgh waived him. Barf. There's a guy who has no idea what he's doing on the mound. Hits 95, and sometimes the mitt.
Logan T. Allen, some good, some bad. Brilliant change. Sat 92. There's something there, though he didn't have it tonight. Hit pretty hard.
Very impressed with Tor prospect Orelvis Martinez. He's got J-Ram power. 14 dingers already.
No Bo Naylor.

That play was funny, but Tena rolling his ankle wasn't. I hope he's ok. He's having a pretty good season.

That was Valera that got hurt, Twitter had the wrong player…..
