I just looked at some 2022 mock drafts and I'm looking forward to getting our SF next year. There are some VERY intriguing prospects up and down the draft. Just some of the names:

Curious to see the continued development of EJ Liddell. He went back to school to work on skills to transition him more to a SF than a PF. I don't think he'll ascend to a late lotto range, but he has the type of personal and competitive qualities that would fit well with our roster.

The Cavs currently have HOU and SAS 2nd rd picks in 2022. HOU will likely be in the 31-36 range. SAS in the 36-43 range. Those could either be potential spots for Liddell or could be combined to move into the late first to grab him.

If Duren also reclassifies it becomes a monster too of the draft class in 2022 with Duren, Bates, Holmgren, Banchero, Hardy, Jovic, Griffin, Baldwin, Jr, etc.

If the Cavs get Bates in the lottery next year that would be amazing. That is a future conference contender in a few years!

This draft is going to be very strong at the forward position which is great for the Cavs.
