It might be risky in terms of assets usage, but I'd like to do the following:
Identify the SG/SF with average to plus athleticism, average to plus defense, some ball handling skills, and a plus 3P shot and then trade up for that guys. I'm thinking we'd need to trade up from our draft position(likely in the 18-23 range) to get to the 10-15 positions to nab this guy. There is a glut of really talented SG and SF's in this draft. I think the best ones will be gone by 18 but I think one or two will slip past 12(Mathurin? Johny Davis? Keegan Murray? Someone is going to slip because of the talented bigs at the top of the draft, the fact that some PG's always rise and get taken in the top12, and the young high ceiling wings like AJ Griffin, Baldwin, etc)
If we have to trade a future 1st and one of this years 2nds, I do it. It represents one last opportunity in a long time to grab a guy who could, at his best, ascend beyond solid rotation guy, and reach to core piece level.
With the remaining 2nd round pick(provided we didn't deal it this trade deadline) you can really target a lot of types:
-developmental PG
-energy big
-Mobley's brother
-high ceiling freshman who had a disappointing freshman year and fell in the draft. (like Brandon Boston for example from this years draft who is looking like he may develop into a good player with the Clippers)
-High producing junior/seniors like Liddell or Champagnie
Then I'd attack FA to address depth in the 7-10 slots the roster. Full use of the MLE for someone decent. Vet minimum for someone who believes in the talent here. Re-sign or S&T Sexton if he doesn't get moved at the deadline.
Basically next year I want out 10-15 guys to be the guys who are currently 8-10 now: Stevens, Wade, Windler + the rookies and a solid locker room vet.
No Pangos's. No Nembhard's. No Tacko's. etc.
