2022 Post-Season | Division Series | Yankees vs. Guardians | Oct. 11 - ?, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He's done the baby thing multiple times throughout the year. Otherwise, you haven't been paying attention or watching.
Did he do it while staring at the pitcher as he rounded the bases??? Show me the vid. You won’t. Because he didn’t.

Weren’t these the same antics that we all loved against Chicago all year? I know I did.

Apologies to the guy who tried pumping his team up as he’s done all year.
I've personally hated Naylor's antics all year, but I feel they have value on this team.

If we're talking about building the body of the 2022 Guardians, we have Jose and Gimenez as our two arms and our pitching as the legs. Our defense is the core muscles, often overlooked but critically important, and obviously Tito forms the head.

But Josh Naylor? He's this team's testicles... and this team had big, beautiful testes.

Have we heard anything from Civale or Bieber since the game? I’m curious as to what Bieber thinks. Did he want the ball?

I also think everyone shitting on this team and second guessing everything would be celebrating in blissful ignorance if we had MVP-level Jose.

Jose left so many guys on base. I know he's healthy enough to play, but he's never been the same since the thumb injuries.

A couple clutch hits from him, and we're talking about Houston.

I completely agree. Jose dropped off the map for the last part of the season and the playoffs compared to what he gave us during the bulk of the season. Andres really fell off with the bat too. The offense in general lost plate discipline and they were their own worst enemy at times. I really hope they go back and study what it was that made them successful and what changed towards the end of the season.

People keep saying “we only scored one run!”, and I get it, but I also think those people are underestimating the impact on the offense of being down 3-0 early like that. It’s deflating, and you could see it the entire game. 3-0 felt like 10-0.

What kind of off-season moves do you see @JMoneyYourHoney

I disagree with this, but would add that the only reason the offense would feel 3-0 felt like 10-0 would be because they didn't believe they could score 4 runs.

1) the offense went down without even a slight whimper in the top of the first. Took eight pitches… EIGHT. Your theory about the 3 runs being deflating is incorrect considering the offense set the tone from the very start of the game.

2) we’ve been a come from behind team all season long.. including the playoffs. Why would today be any different?
