Did he do it while staring at the pitcher as he rounded the bases??? Show me the vid. You won’t. Because he didn’t.He's done the baby thing multiple times throughout the year. Otherwise, you haven't been paying attention or watching.
I've personally hated Naylor's antics all year, but I feel they have value on this team.Weren’t these the same antics that we all loved against Chicago all year? I know I did.
Apologies to the guy who tried pumping his team up as he’s done all year.
He's trolling.Again, what part of scoring 1 run today did you miss? I'm not defending Civale because he didn't have it today... but our offense scored one run. ONE.
I completely agree. Jose dropped off the map for the last part of the season and the playoffs compared to what he gave us during the bulk of the season. Andres really fell off with the bat too. The offense in general lost plate discipline and they were their own worst enemy at times. I really hope they go back and study what it was that made them successful and what changed towards the end of the season.I also think everyone shitting on this team and second guessing everything would be celebrating in blissful ignorance if we had MVP-level Jose.
Jose left so many guys on base. I know he's healthy enough to play, but he's never been the same since the thumb injuries.
A couple clutch hits from him, and we're talking about Houston.
What kind of off-season moves do you see @JMoneyYourHoney
People keep saying “we only scored one run!”, and I get it, but I also think those people are underestimating the impact on the offense of being down 3-0 early like that. It’s deflating, and you could see it the entire game. 3-0 felt like 10-0.
1) the offense went down without even a slight whimper in the top of the first. Took eight pitches… EIGHT. Your theory about the 3 runs being deflating is incorrect considering the offense set the tone from the very start of the game.People keep saying “we only scored one run!”, and I get it, but I also think those people are underestimating the impact on the offense of being down 3-0 early like that. It’s deflating, and you could see it the entire game. 3-0 felt like 10-0.
