Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Crickets from Cats tonight. Maybe he has switched back to following the Cardinals on KMOX.

I am so tired of watching Myles Straw.
Funks do not last for 2.5 months. It seems this guy just flat out sucks
Straw's current struggles suck. It's hard to watch him up there.

That being said, I understand it's difficult to be patient when you're a three year old, but Straw's history in the league speaks more than the recent struggles.

I know you're three (or younger) because if you were alive during Jose's slump of 2018-2019, you wouldn't have the above take. Your typing is quite advanced for your age. Keep it up. I'm proud of you.

Straw had an OBP of .388 on May 1st. After the early season ups/downs, that was his peak. Entering tonight it was .291, which for the season is wholly unacceptable even for a premium defender. Straw’s production reminds me of Mark Belanger, the only guy in the 1970s Orioles lineup who didn’t hit much but played solid defense.

Well apparently you have not paid attention to Straw's career.
He is a career .249 hitter with a career OPS of .644 which puts him in the career below average (barely above Poor) range.
This season every metric has him at poor.
So yeah I will continue to hold out for him to improve to below average and remain excited.
Yes Jose went thru a ridiculously long slump but he had already had previous seasons that showed he was an above average to very good MLB hitter. Straw does not have that going for him and likely never will
I bet you didn't know 3 year olds knew more than newborns.

Wait, what? Myles Straws career OPS+ is 80. If anything, his play after the trade last year looks like the aberration. He looks like a nice pinch runner/defensive sub right now.
