It's very simple.. Amed has very LIMITED value.. He doesn't get on base unless he hits...

Works ok when he is averaging closer to 300. Doesn't work AT ALL when averaging closer to 200.

Amed has been a slow starter, but I think it's time to just give his ABs to a younger guy with a lesser contract lol

He lives in such a such a narrow demanding margin, when he's off it resonates through every aspect of his offensive profile. Coupled with "average" defense (that's being kind) he can't be counted on to actually help us win games on both sides of the ball.

He's average.

I could be talked into a pure salary dump I think.

Their starters just gave up 3 runs in 23 innings, doesn't look like they need much. This board fellates the FO when our rotation has a run like that.
