People forget, the defense's turnaround last season was when Woods cut out this bullshit and made things simpler for everyone.

And now we are going through the same bullshit circus yet again this year. Hopefully it doesn't cost us a game - particularly against an inferior opponent.

When your pro bowl defensive back doesn't know where to be and who he's covering, there is a serious and fundamental failure to communicate from the coaches. Especially when this has happened multiple times on multiple weeks.

Unless you're saying all our defensive backs are just stupid?

I honestly don't know.

We might see better results with different coaching. Perhaps it's a communication failure.

I'm not in a position to know those things. All I know is that Ward failed on that play.

My personal preference is press man and aggression. I love Miami's defense. But I try to put that personal bias away and accept that cover 2 and cover 4 is the modern NFL and we need to learn how to play it against the Jets if we want to be able to use it to beat the Bills or Chiefs.

I like to remember that we're young and inexperienced. The mistakes we see them commit against the Panthers and Jets are hopefully things that we learn from and get better.

If we don't improve, that's when I worry.
