2022 Season - Week #4 - Browns @ Falcons - 10/2 - 1 pm on CBS

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Stefanski just can’t help himself. If he commits to the run, we probably win. 2nd to last drive we should have been leaning on them with Chubb and Hunt, but he can’t bring himself to run twice in a row.
He only does this when up. But if it is close, his tendency is to trick the other team and still pass.

As absurd as it is to say this

The offense kinda blew this one

Had two long drives first half that went inside the 10 or maybe even the 5 and came away with a total of 3 points.

Just can’t happen.
this! should've kept trying to run into the endzone where DPJ went down at.

The Falcons have the worst run defense in all of football.

20 points is a horseshit outcome.
I agree, but the way I see it is the offense will get better when Watson comes back. On the other hand, I don't see the defense getting better under Woods.

Yeah I mean... that's the design of the defense though.

Do literally anything you can to stop the pass, in exchange you concede the run and gamble that teams aren't good enough or disciplined enough to run it 13 times in a row like Atlanta did.

It is what it is. The Browns running 7 plays on goal to go in the 1st half and coming away with just 3 points is really the story of the game.
Why does NFL coaches have to get cute on 2nd and Goal inside the 1? Take a timeout if you have to (its the 1st half), remind the team who the fuck they are and go get that one yard by running with the #1 RB. Then try again. Then try again.

I don't care about the first drive. That's ballsy and I respect it. I care about dipshit bootlegs on the 1 though.

Then the design fucking sucks.

The amount of NFL teams who can and will successfully run the ball 14 times in a row is in the single digits. Probably 5 teams or less.

The amount of teams who won't is a lot higher.

Steelers about to lose too, still in 1st.

There are 7 more games until then.

The Browns could be 2 games up on the rest of the division right now if they had just done their jobs. There shouldn't have been a 'punt the season' attitude this year.

conceding part of football game isn't smart.

You don't have to focus on it, but you don't just flat out give up on defending it.

Week 5 and the Browns are tied for first place!

NFL is such a fucking week to week sport we will prob shit on the Chargers next week and we’ll all be talking Super Bowl

Herbert is going to light these fools up next week. We've played garbage offenses and qbs so far and still haven't produced on defense. Next week they'll really show how shit this scheme (and players) are.

Joe woods sucks but the falcons were stopped often.
