The amount of NFL teams who can and will successfully run the ball 14 times in a row is in the single digits. Probably 5 teams or less.

The amount of teams who won't is a lot higher.

we have at least 5 games remaining on our schedule that imo based on what I've seen so far can and probably will do this to us

then we have offenses like Miami and buffalo who are gonna torch this defense regardless of whether they run it once or 29 straight times

Yeah I mean... that's the design of the defense though.

Do literally anything you can to stop the pass, in exchange you concede the run and gamble that teams aren't good enough or disciplined enough to run it 13-14 times in a row like Atlanta did.

It is what it is. The Browns running 7 plays on goal to go in the 1st half and coming away with just 3 points is really the story of the game.

I would be much more sympathetic to this if we were at all good at stopping the pass this season
