and this dude was denigrating the accomplishment.

The Dame/CJ led Portland had regular season success every year…..and was always an early round exit. If you’re happy with mediocrity….then I’m happy for you. A first round exit again this year will be a complete and utter failure and JBB should be on the first Amtrak out of Cleveland.
I didn’t say the regular season isn’t important!I watched the team in 2018-19 when they were awful. I’m a fan of the team since 1976 and support them whether they are good or not. I also have ZERO influence over the team.
If you really believe the regular season is unimportant then why post in a game thread?
It’s because some people are, as I said, utterly miserable and aren’t happy unless they can spread misery in a game thread where we won by 10 points.

I said it doesn’t mean Jack! Meaning you can have the best record in the league and still get bounced in the first round of the playoffs if you don’t come out ready to play. And that is exactly what happened to the Cavs last year.
