2023-24 Season | Game #6 | Cavs @ Pacers | Nov. 3, 2023 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Fedor asked him about it postgame, and Allen kinda avoided the question. It does feel like a weird bet or something. Which...if so, pretty unprofessional.

Oh lord. His answer speaks volumes.

What a fucking asshole

I’ve lost any and all respect for him. If he’s my teammate and pulling shit like this… wow - fuck him

A special shout out to my man, @Phil Mixtape . For traveling down to this game from Chicago and having to watch this letdown of a game...Tough L to watch...
No real at the game shit to add that you guys couldn’t see watching at home. Super sloppy effort especially early. Niang looked awful and Wade needs to go somewhere. Nice to have the starters together for the first time. Those DG turnovers at the end were brutal and you could feel the momentum shifting our way.

This is embarrassing. And then the game comes down to a point here and a point there.....and he does this shit?

His goofy attitude just rubs me the wrong way and doing shit like this just comes off as a guy who doesn't really care all that much about winning and losing.

No shot this dude lost a pokemon battle bet with his daily buddy

It looked like the Pacers came out with a playoff mentality after getting rolled by 51 on Wednesday and the Cavs were just going through the motions, except for Mitchell, who had 20 in the first half. Mitchell had an incredible game with 38 points and 9 assists, but he missed a crucial jumper late in the 4th.

This game was lost on 3's - the Pacers were 15-for-31 while the Cavs were an embarassing 8-for-28. That's a 21-point difference in a 5-point loss. Haliburton made his 3-pointer with 17 seconds to go (his foot was on the line so he only got two) and then LeVert missed an open one. Story of the game.

The two technicals also hurt. If not for them the Cavs would have been down one point instead of three on their final possession and that would have changed everything since they were also in the bonus.

Great to see Garland and Allen back but neither is 100%. Mobley had a very nice game with 14/10/5, 3 steals, 4 blocks, and a number of contested shots that missed. He was a +11 meaning the Cavs were -16 in the 12 minutes he was down.

Garland turned it over four times, missed both his 3's, and was abused on defense. Whoever he was guarding just took it into the paint and shot a 10-footer over him. Nothing he could do about it.

Dean Wade was a -9 in three minutes and never got back in the game. I think his time is running out. Speaking of which, Niang is now shooting 24.3% overall and 20.8% on 3's. It's not like he's playing great defense or doing anything really.

Okoro probably had the worst game. The Cavs were -19 in his 22 minutes. He committed 4 fouls and scored 5 points. Strus was 1-for-6 on 3's and is now shooting 31% for the year from deep.

I think eventually our best lineup will be Garland, Mitchell, LeVert, Mobley, and Allen.

Hey, Tristan Thompson shot left-handed free throws for about five years. Give Allen a break.

I don't want Evan Mobley anywhere near a guy with this mindset.

Allen’s nice nerdy guy charm has wore off. Now he’s just a soft pussy

Don't get me started on that cringy Rick Flair yelling after getting called for 5 seconds in the paint. He did that in the playoffs while we were losing to the Knicks. Goofy and embarrassing.

Either DG's hamstring is #$%@!& up beyond belief or we are in serious trouble.

JBB is treating this like its still the preseason. Cavs seem to be ok with punting regular season games. Its going to be a battle every single night. The level of talent in the league is at an all time high. This team doesn’t play with any sense of urgency which has been typical for JBB’s tenure here.

Give Allen a break? No way. TT is not a good free throw shooter, never was. He’s somewhat ambidextrous and tried left hand to IMPROVE. This JA stuff is some serious BS.

Like usual - this post is spot on. I’d look to trade him for a win now type of center. (If one exists). Allen definitely doesn’t have the IT factor. That left handed FT has me completely pissed off. If I was JBB - I’d get to the bottom of this.

I was kidding. That left-handed free throw came out of nowhere. WTF?

If I were not a Cavs fan and was looking for a team to adopt, the Pacers would be a finalist. They lead the league in shot attempts per game (pace) and assists. They run and they pass. They have eight players averaging in double figures. They play the game the right way and they have guys like Hield and Nesmith who can come off the bench and knock down 3's. Their backup center, Jalen Smith, had 13 points in 17 minutes.

Smith and Turner combined to go 15-for-22 for 40 points and 14 rebounds in 48 minutes. They destroyed Allen, who gets a pass because he was playing his first game since last season and he was only on the floor 21 minutes.

When Allen sits Mobley moves to center and that leaves either Niang or Wade at PF. We're screwed. They're both awful, although Wade usually plays excellent defense.
