2023-24 Season | Game #64 | Nets @ Cavs | March 10, 2024 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Again, with that team defense, he never got the chance in the 4th to make a difference. Your really trying too hard.

5 AST and 4 TO is my bigger concern to be honest. For a guy who everyone tells me is an elite/top 10 PG, he continues to be pretty careless with the ball. His assist-to-turnover ratio on the year is 1.9, which is currently good for 160th out of players who have played a minimum of 30 games at 25 min+ / game

I know I keep harping on this, but this is another game where Darius has to show me something. Be the best player on the floor against a shit Nets team.

You are getting paid max money. I can't have one good game every week or two and then a bunch of stat lines that I would easily mistake for Caris Levert if I didn't know better.
You should look more closely at LeVert's stat lines. Look, Garland is all we got. The other team knows it. They're selling out to stop him, and despite that he's playing well.

He didn't even have Strus or Wade out there with him tonight. You saw what CPJ looked like against full court pressure with a middling defender on him. You saw what Bates and Merrill played like tonight. Garland is a basketball player, not a magician. He can't manifest good players into existence to play alongside him.

I had us going 9-10 and that was us beating the Nets and SUns

Scored 73 oof...
Gave up 79. More competitive than us. Actually I’m pretty sure we scored 79 against them in the playoffs last year one of those games. I recall being disgusted.

There were some pretty bad basketball games played today.

They were likely going to lose anyway given how on fire they were, but this back to back porter Turnovers mid 3rd killed us. Defense was non existent too, team looks like they could use a good hard practice day, looks like maybe Friday they can get that in.
I felt like the Cavs had grabbed the momentum at the end of the second and carried it over to the third and with a few rebounds negating second chances and one or two made shots (LeVert missed that second three of his and JA shot an air ball from 17 feet) , we could have taken the wind out of their sails; just like we did in the last game against them with that 21-0 run to start the 3rd

mitchell does, and so do other all-stars/superstars

You won’t hear that from me. I think he’s a turnover machine and defensive sieve and changes the pace of play solely to suit his game which is to the detriment of the team. Clearly , Mitchell plays better without him and vice-versa as do Mobley and JA. The one caveat is that perhaps a different coach might make things coexist better but the previous statement is as we’re presently constructed. Likewise, due to the success the team had without him at all, when Donovan returns, I think he’d be best playing and leading a second unit and would therefore be matched up against weaker individuals both offensively and defensively

By comparison, a huge portion of the board gets up in arms over everything Caris does and want to launch him to the moon, yet his AST/TO rate is 3.07 to Garland's 1.9.
