2023-24 Season | Game #66 | Cavs @ Pelicans | March 13, 2024 | 8:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Damian Jones confuses me. There are times he looks as good and as mobile as JA. Then there are times he looks like last year's Robin Lopez.

He's more mobile than JA or Mobley. I've noticed he does pretty well on large wings.

It's kind of a shame he's never put it together. He might have the least realized potential on the team. He's an A+athlete and he can stay with wings. His decision making is too slow

Without choosing favorites, I think what we’re diagnosing as playing well when multiple guys are out is more about how we play with only one primary big on the floor at any given time.
Oh I know.

Carlisle or Spo, fucking great.

Obviously we would rather have Indy. They have a nice squad but Hallie* hasn’t been on the same level since he got hurt and they have had a weak season defensively.

*The Ringer has him ahead of Mitchell in their player rankings, shameful.

Wait Haliburton above Don? Bahahahahaha that’s absurd. I like DG over him too.

Haliburton and Mitchell with similar years. Both are all star talents. Better than Garland who is the same age as Haliburton

Staple that list to the locker room wall and watch DM single handily sweep the Pacers

Great points. Add to that the way he withers with physical contact. He's less physical than both Mobley and Allen which is hard to believe.

Pels beat Clippers at home today. It's fun to compare that game to ours, especially Zion's stats:

GAME DATEMATCHUPW/LMINPTSFGMFGAFG%3PM3PA3P%FTMFTAFT%OREBDREBREBASTSTLBLKTOVPF+/-
MAR 15, 2024NOP vs. LACW3534142166.7000.061060.0437431329
MAR 13, 2024NOP vs. CLEL3533132161.9000.07977.827911021-22

Kudos to Zion for very good and consistent performances against very different defenses.

Now the Clippers hit 12 3s compared to our 20. They're a mid-range team. But they gave up 112 points to the Pels while we gave up 95. So our offense and defense were better.
