Ugly.
No.Are you watching the game?
We have gone as far as we are going to go with him. I don't expect any serious progress or to consistently start beating good teams until there is a shakeup involving axing him.JBB keeps saying we missed our shots. There are other ways to get easier shots offensively but we are running the same thing like last year. There’s no dynamic offensively. It is not fun to watch.
Agree. Their ball movement has been like that in all the games I've seen of them so far, which is why I was surprised they were near the bottom in assists. Per the eye test, I personally don't think they play like a selfish team.I rewatched some highlights and the OKC ball movement was really the difference tonight. They are young but really such a fun team to watch.

I don't know how I feel about this. They generated an open look for Niang at the end of the game, airball. Max missed one at the end. onovan missed a mid range and 2-3 3's.
Those were good looks, and they just missed them.
The mistakes were an even bigger problem though. Turning the ball over, moving screens etc. Levert fouling SGA for free throws above the break.
I can't figure out why late game execution is so bad for this team. Donovan turned it over after the double instead of getting it to Garland who was all alone at the top of the key. They aren't playing together every possession.
Isaac having the best 3pt% on the team is crazy. This can't keep up.
It just looks like a compliment of guys who don’t mesh well (yet). Niang and Strus are being asked to do too much and are not steady from beyond the arc (yet) and are both a bit slow for the pace of the offense (especially Niang). We are really missing someone who can hit a midrange shot (Allen/Mobley are not it) and another athletic shooting wing if Okoro can’t make an improvement (which he’s shown thus far).
Donovan is best used as a pure scorer (not a PG), and DG looks a bit lost right now. We could use the Spaniard right now as well.
Forget Rubio he's done.
Maybe the Thunder would give us Micic, former euro mvp, who is only 29 and just sitting on their bench. I don’t what else he can do, but I guarantee he can generate offenseI figured as much. But my point is we need a true PG who can create for others and shoot his shot (right now I'm not convince Garland is a true PG with the way he's playing).
Thunder shot 42.9% from 3 last night. That's a pretty good clip. The game before when we beat the Warriors, they shot 39.0% from 3.
Ah, you know what, let me do some math here...
In games the Cavs have won this season, they've held opponents to 30.6% shooting from 3. In games the Cavs have lost this season, they've allowed opponents to shoot 43.3% from 3.
This is where we miss Okoro. With him making open shots now AND his defense has stepped up this year somehow. He is our most physical player, right there with TT,.
The team was clearly better with JA on the floor, and it wasn't even close.
