2023-24 Season | Game #8 | Cavs @ Thunder | Nov. 8, 2023 | 8:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LeVert is our high scorer but also has the worst +/- on the team -14.
LaVert creates for himself while everyone else stands around and watches. That is a problem. He is not a good playmaker, dribbles way too much, he's a ball stopper. Sure he scored a lot but as you can see a -14 when on the floor.

Lol, just him

....

Allen was a turd. So was Mitchell. Mobley, Garland and LeVert were up and down. So, nope don't agree.
Given that it's u posting, anyone who missed the game can say with 99% certainty that the opposite is true

Garland is in year 5. He’s not a “young point guard” anymore.

He’s a disappointing max player so far this season. He’s got to be much, much better with the ball. I’m honestly not even concerned about the 3 point shooting. It’s the flopping and sloppy passes leading to turnovers that are simply unacceptable as this stage.
Remember he was injured to start the season, so that could be part of his problem.

These are games you can’t afford to lose if you want to be a playoff team. Games at the warriors and kings are expected losses (and would put us at 3-7) but you can’t lose multiple games to teams like the Pacers and Thunder

This might be a long season
Hey man idk where you’ve been but the Pacers and Thunder both look like playoff teams this year.

He definitely iced Mitchell, which resulted in Mitchell, our closer, being a brick fest to end the game.

Yeah, I got to be honest, I'm just not that high on him.

I'm won't go drastic and say, they should move him. For what? I just doubt his value is that high.

You're kinda stuck with him, but what is so infuriating, and I think will never change. Is his inability, to have careless turnovers.

Much like a Westbrook, where you always, say what the fuck was he thinking. That's just who they are, and it's just something that doesn't really change in a player.

When it comes to post-season basketball, where possessions are crucial.

I don't know how you can trust him. And he definitely can't be your second best player on the team.

Honestly, I think he's probably your 4th best player on a championship team.

It's too bad, the team doesn't have a small point forward, that can handle the ball, and make plays, and take some burden off Garland always having to do it. Not that a player would fit on this team, with Mitchell and Garland.

Garland playing next to a LeBron, or a Luka, would be more ideal. Just so you can take the ball away from him in crucial moments, because you simply can't trust him.

How many games have we lost, when it came to low IQ plays by him? Too many.

Cavs plays out of timeouts implode 9/10 times, as AC would say. And like embarrassingly. What is JB’s job? I’m not kidding.. dead-ball plays from a “Basketball for Idiots” book would be an improvement. Like, it would.

Like, it would.

Ok good night.

In addition to JBB, what the hell is Luke Walton's job? Unless JBB is completely undermining him, our offensive coordinator should be seeing some pushback too. The whole coaching staff IMO is rotten. With a couple of Cavs nepo babies running the show.

This thread is too doomer. Any positives from this game?

Strus finally had a good shooting night and another good night on the glass.

People are gonna give LeVert a lot of credit but tbh I thought the LeVert show in the second half was to the detriment of the team. But he was efficient.

Mobley really turned it on defensively in the 4th quarter before being subbed out at the 4 minute mark for some odd reason. THought he was way more impactful than Chet tonight.

I don't get why everyone is so quick to blame JBB. He can't take all those open 3's they're missing or the prevent the bonehead turnovers.

Mobley had 22 points on 9/16. A few of the moves around the basket, while simple, were well-executed.

Caris played with heart the whole game and got to the foul line more than SGA. His plus/minus was poor, but he gave great effort.

Strus was also pretty good. The usual Miami effort with a good shooting night.

Mobley definitely looked good tonight. He once again was our highest plus minus player on the court.
