Garland is in year 5. He’s not a “young point guard” anymore.
He’s a disappointing max player so far this season. He’s got to be much, much better with the ball. I’m honestly not even concerned about the 3 point shooting. It’s the flopping and sloppy passes leading to turnovers that are simply unacceptable as this stage.
Yeah, I got to be honest, I'm just not that high on him.
I'm won't go drastic and say, they should move him. For what? I just doubt his value is that high.
You're kinda stuck with him, but what is so infuriating, and I think will never change. Is his inability, to have careless turnovers.
Much like a Westbrook, where you always, say what the fuck was he thinking. That's just who they are, and it's just something that doesn't really change in a player.
When it comes to post-season basketball, where possessions are crucial.
I don't know how you can trust him. And he definitely can't be your second best player on the team.
Honestly, I think he's probably your 4th best player on a championship team.
It's too bad, the team doesn't have a small point forward, that can handle the ball, and make plays, and take some burden off Garland always having to do it. Not that a player would fit on this team, with Mitchell and Garland.
Garland playing next to a LeBron, or a Luka, would be more ideal. Just so you can take the ball away from him in crucial moments, because you simply can't trust him.
How many games have we lost, when it came to low IQ plays by him? Too many.
