He also has been looking pretty bad at the plate too.
 
Gaddis isn't helping his catcher either.. slow to the plate.. makes the catch have to rush.. the PB's are wildly uncatchable.. getting a glove or any part of Zunino's body on them is a challenge..
 
Zunino did just throw out Jung on an attempted steal..

Gaddis is working his way up the depth chart.
 
Gaddis is clearly the #6 or better starter at this point. The first guy who goes down, he'll be the sub. Question is where you start him out, on the MLB roster or AAA rotation. I think they'd rather keep him on the rhythm in AAA.

I've seen Arias botch so many easy plays in a really short sample that I can't imagine him being a plus glove.

Oh, and another Zunino PB leads to a run that would infuriate me come regular season
 
dontcha love the way Spongebob is putting the bat on the ball today?
 
Even though Eli Morgan had a clean inning.. save for the one hopper right back to him to end the inning..everything was hit with authority.. IOW.. Morgan didn't fool anyone..
 
Zunino 0-3 with 3 strikeouts. Buckle up fellas.
 
What a godawful game by Zunino, and 0-3 with 3 K's on top of that. Let's hope Zack Collins can do better.

Zunino is being let off the hook by the terrible pitching by Eli Morgan..

The question could be do they think he can effectively replace Plesac?

There are some markets opening up a bit due to injuries. Be curious to see if anything happens.
