Arraez is a way better hitter than Polanco... Arraez is probably the best pure contact hitter in all of baseball.

You're enamored with contact hitters that just slap the ball. Arraez is not "a way better hitter than Polanco" and Arraez is vastly worse with the glove. Sure they'll lose Arraez's BA, but they'll gain Polanco's power and defense.

Wading in on this to my utter shame.... the origin of the Arraez as "a great hitter" commentary began with SC questioning who would be the best hitter to acquire... w/ my response being Arraez.. The "hijacking of this comment" is just an example of what can be considered an unoriginal thought being exploited...

Also his numbers at 2B have been solid defensively since in over 450 innings he hasn't made an error... He's on pace for about 8 bWAR this season...
