Gutsy post, Bimbo. But WTH are they going to do about it? Yeah, we know Amed and JRam are boys. But please tell us there's a plan, and we will have a new regular SS after the deadline.

I mean, look at the numbers Schneeman, Rocchio etc are putting up at AAA... I am hoping Rosario is gone personally... But hopefully if he's not, we get someone else in the two hole...

I believe Tito needs to retire. As to who would take over the reins, that is tough. I think that Sandy Alomar or Hale have shown (in limited samples) that they would tend to manage like "what would Tito do in this situation?" Sarbaugh has extensive minor league experience as a manager, but IIRC he has never run the big league club. So I'd lean towards a whole new staff, but that also would have it's challenges. I think if you bring in a totally outside guy, he'd have to work with "Tito's guys". I would just like, ideally, for Tito to stay on as a kind of "team motivator", as that has always been his strength to me. And have someone else making the line-ups and in-game decisions.

I just wish Tito would have ended our World Championship drought before retiring. Everything was there in 2016.

He was a fun player to watch for 25-30 games. He fooled a few people into his unsustainable success. His speed is one of his best strengths, I'll never forget his Sonic-like speed on the OGon walk-off win.
