2023 Season | Series #35 | Guardians @ Astros | July 31 - Aug 2, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We really subbed in Myles to tag up? And yeah, I’m strictly hating on him at this point

Astros and Yankees pretty much own this fuckin baseball team in Cleveland. Sucks. But I sense the tides will turn soon.

Well...

It's do or die time when we take on the Sox at home starting Friday. Those will be 3 winnable games, and we better win 2 at least.

After that, it's the Jays x4h, Rays x3a and Reds x2a... Better find some resolve quick.

If we win 3 out of 4 that would be amazing as we only play 3 games (Fri - Sun). Nothing like watching a replay drunk at 2 am and thinking it is another win! But, 3 is possible with Clevinger, Kopech and Sholtens ... all righties.

You can say that, but you, myself, and everybody else on this board knows that simply isn't true for one former member of this organization and that's why the majority of this board is giving you a hard time.

No, it's true.

We're all just sunshine pumpers. We overlook any warts players have.

Just look at how we all unanimously thought Amed was a stud and overlooked his dogshit defense and middling offense.

Every one of us is too high on Myles Straw.

Jose Ramirez is a perennial MVP candidate but we should point out his warts, like whenever he doesn't get a hit or pops it up.

And don't even get me started on this bullpen. Everyone thinks they're perfect, but only CATS sees their flaws.

We could all stand to be half as insightful or accurate as he.

Looking at the remaining schedule I will honestly be surprised if we win more than 75 games this year.

Let's see how the guys respond after this sweep in Houston and the veterans being moved... They have always been fighters regardless of the score, so who knows, maybe someone can step up outside of Kwan, JNaylor, Gimenez and JRam... These guys are getting a chance to do just that and let's see what happens...

I wouldn't be surprised either to see a lot of piggybacking happening down the stretch for the starting pitchers. Since they can add two more players in September, I am guessing, they will do just that and have guys like Curry, Battenfield, Plesac etc piggybacking off of Williams, Allen and Bibee... I think Plesac is going to make his MLB return here soon personally...
