The schedule is the reason you has to sell. You were at .500 and with that tough 2 month road and no Bieber/Tmac there was just little hope of finishing above .500.

Early mocks and too early draft projections are about the most "pie in the sky" as it gets. With that said and believed... Tommy White, one of the younger LSU guys that played a big part in the Tigers College World Series Title.. would be a name to consider... imho..

This series and deadline (yes, the return value was very good) was deflating. Took a lot out of the season for me. Minny keeps losing with us, as if to troll us.
I'll admit I wasn't (and still ain't) ready for a losing season and watch meaningless games by mid August.
All parts of the roster have their shiny moments but are inconsistent. SP was good enough to win this series, that's the positive takeaway. And we desperately need Josh back in the lineup.
Must win, must sweep series ahead vs CWS to stay close to Twins and two series vs them ahead.
