Legend is he was a big Indians fan growing up, after practice each day watching the Major League movies on VHS on a grainy 13 inch color tv. His favorite one, of course, was Major League: Back to the Minors.

Sure they will hear about. Perhaps it will be from other kids in the neighborhood/ as school or even a news report on the radio/ TV/ internet.
For all our sake's I hope it isn't for many years & the final truthful story (after the investigation) is WAY less troublesome from the version we are hearing right now..
Otherwise prepare for questions like:
"Daddy, what do they mean by age of consent?"
"Daddy, what do they mean by robing the cradle?"
"Daddy, what do they mean by rape/ statutory rape?"
Ultimately its your call how your kids hear about this. They can hear from you in a controlled, educational setting or they can hear it from others and you are left picking up the pieces/ cleaning up the mess left behind.
Either way you go... I wish you (& all parents with this) good luck.
