2024 Cleveland Browns Off-Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I kinda like it. Makes the kickoff matter. Hopefully we see a lot less kicks flying out of the end zone.
We’re going to love it when we have a kickoff return TD for us or a great return, making Hopkins even more important

We’re going to hate it when it’s reversed and the other team starts drives at the 45

It only starts on the 40 if the kick doesn’t get to the 20. That’s a very rare occurrence.

I was thinking just more returns and longer returns when I said that. Ultimately all the teams are playing by the same rules, so I’m cool with it and it will be interesting to see how much impact it has

Definitely over.

I have a hard time taking Pittsburgh and Cincinnati seriously. Washington, Las Vegas, Denver, New Orleans, Jacksonville, LAC, NYG are all winnable games. I think Dallas, Philly, and Baltimore will be competitive games. I have a hard time seeing us beat KC at the present moment until Watson starts looking like his old self again.

Why? Pittsburgh split with us and only got better. I don't see them as a contender, but they're plenty good enough to beat us in either or both matchups.

Cincinnati was the AFC's Super Bowl representative 3 seasons ago, one drive away from a repeat appearance 2 seasons ago, and then had an injury-riddled season from their FQB last season. Unless you think Burrow can't recover from the wrist surgery or that we'll be lucky enough for him to have another season derailed by injury, I don't see any reason to have a hard time taking them seriously.
