But Bauer being black-balled isn't just about sexual assault and repeated battery of women, it was simply the last straw. He has a long list of actions which got him shipped off every team he played for in the league.
Kaepernick's personal opinions were neither stupid, nor inaccurate. He simply was punished for believing them.
Its not a fair comparison because one guy was unfairly black-balled, while Bauer's current unemployment was based on his actions.
I agree with your first statement AZ.But Bauer being black-balled isn't just about sexual assault and repeated battery of women, it was simply the last straw. He has a long list of actions which got him shipped off every team he played for in the league.

Their on field numbers are worlds apart. One guy put up average numbers on a 1-10 team with the 27th ranked scoring offense in the league. The other guy was one of the best starting pitchers in the league.Trevor Bauer's numbers aren't the problem, neither were Kaepernick's.
Their on-field numbers are certainly comparable -- Kaepernick was an above average QB for quite some time just like Bauer is an above average pitcher.
Kaepernick led a great team to the playoffs, Bauer missed his best chance at a ring because of his conduct. But again, performance isn't the issue -- both have the talent to be high performers at the professional level.
Anyone pretending otherwise is DEEPLY biased.
The comparison is about off the field conduct. Kaepernick is a good person, strong leader and is respected by those who he played with.
Bauer appears to be quite the opposite.
A Harvard study? Impressive.
That's in the ivy league.
So you don't want to win?Bauer can go back to Japan. Roberto Osuna has had a nice career over there since his transgressions.
Still feel pretty good about it because most of them haven’t pitched the past two games.Bullpen is getting taxed early. Might need to look into letting Curry eat more innings here shortly. Sticks can't even get to 5 in what appears to be an easy W on his record.
I don't want Bauer on my team. Our team chemistry seems really solid and we are doing better than fine without him. Maybe someone will take a chance on him, but not us. Please. So you don't want to win?
Bullpen is going to be over worked. And guys like Cookie and TMac are giving up less runs than their numbers indicate they should. Probably not sustainable. They need multiple quality starters.I don't want Bauer on my team. Our team chemistry seems really solid and we are doing better than fine without him. Maybe someone will take a chance on him, but no us. Please.
Interesting retort to my comment.
