except Akron actually takes care of the "thugs"Quincy Diggs booted from bball team for beating his gf up numerous times.
Awesome to see Akron get thugs like Kent State.

Awesome to see people just run with false rumors. I cannot share the full story but I can tell you Quincy did not beat up his girlfriend, nor did he hurt her in any way, shape, or form.
Other side note - Quincy is not a piece of shit...far from it. He's actually a good kid that keeps to himself - he doesn't even go out and drink like most college kids.
Interesting..last semester I saw him at Barley House almost every weekend. The second police report filed happened at Vertigo night club. But you know, he doesnt go out and drink like other college kids.Awesome to see people just run with false rumors. He has been involved in many altercations with her.Wrong. According to people in the know, and police reports, he was involved in altercations with his ex-girlfriend. Still out of character though.

If he did nothing, why was he suspended? Not only is he off of the team, he is out of school as well.I am as about "in the know" as one can get without being on the team or on the staff...trust me.
Realize that:
1) The police reports were made with statements made by the girl.
2) After investigating the incidents, the police decided not to press charges.
Quincy never "smacked" her, nor did he throw anything at her. She admitted as much soon after.
He wasn't even kicked off the team. The University suspended him, and he can apply again, but not until the spring. They're not going to do that to a student if there isnt evidence and if this isnt very serious.
