Andre Drummond - LeBron's Robin

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Andre really does generate a lot of rebounds off of his own misses. It takes him 2-3 shots to maybe score. He stuff the stat sheet for sure, but on the offensive end he's just such a problem.

He is an awful offensive player. The group with Sexton and Allen opened up the lead tonight. But Drummond does other things that are valuable, so as long as he isn't going to cause problems in the locker room when he gets pulled for ineffectiveness, then I don't mind having him here. I also wouldn't be heartbroken if they can get value trading him.

What I’d like to know is why a 6’11” man with the ball at the hoop doesn’t dunk. (And the one time he tries, he spikes the ball into the ground 15 feet away.)

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a big man who was worse than Andre when shooting from five feet in.
You clearly have forgotten about TT! NOBODY was worst than TT missing point blank shots from 3-5 feet!

Andre is clearly pretty much worse. TT would not try to slop it up for a foul like Drummond does.

TT sucked in plenty of ways, but he was pretty good at not wasting possessions which is why he could be in at crunch time.

He block shots like Drummond, Prince, but they rebounded. They all (like Allen) had 2 blocks apiece.
are you really questioning his rebounding after he had a 20/20 game vs us last season

The Cavs should buyout Drummond if they don't want to trade him.

We saw last season with TT they won’t, even if they wanted to they wouldn’t until after the trade deadline because it makes no sense to not wait to see if there are any desperate contenders at the deadline.

By becoming known as a team that doesn’t buy out players could also increase offers before deadline for the future

This is becoming a toxic environment. Drummond did not ask to come to Cleveland. He is not a good fit.

If he's truly making it toxic, then why reward both him and our opponents for his shitty behavior by releasing him? If it gets that bad - and it isn't yet - we can always bench him. Or give him the J.R. treatment.

I don’t really like the move he when does this dribbly fancy juke style because whenever he does that his shot never goes in or gets blocked. I think he does better when he posts and goes strong, does a hook shot, or goes for glass.

I have to admit he sure does a good job in getting the passing lanes or he reaches out his hands to knock the ball out.
