I guess I will have to go searching... I don't know why they only had the manga in English and not a novel version... I am an oddball though since I don't like the flow and pictures in comics/mangas

Yeah I'm a long time manga/comic reader so I'm used to it.

I'm a visual reader, so when you put pictures with words, it just doesn't flow for me... Lol Like when I am watching anime and reading the subtext I start hearing the voices in the English words they are saying... I process data super strange lol

Finally started Juijutsu Kaisen, but I had to take a break. Watched 9 episodes in one go haha

Reminds me a lot of demon slayer somehow. Its solid but not exceptional so far

Finished JJK. Its good. Very interesting series thats somewhat subversive. Very solid shounen. 8/10 in my opinion

Nice! I'll have to finish it here soon then! I have been catching up on my light novels lately.. The New Rising of the Shield Hero just came out plus I have been reading through The Irregular with Magic High... Aka I spend too much money on light novels ..

Seven Knights Revolution had a 7ish out of 10 from a lot of comments on gogoanime and I need to finish 86, which started off solid... I've been slacking since I haven't been watching Shaman King (2021) and Edens Gate (has fairy tale in space aspects)

I like some of the characters in the irregular magic high so I wanna see were everything goes with it. The Anime is mostly following the light novel, so they actually may have stuck to it too much, but I wanna see where it goes as they finish high school and get stuck into the 10 clans politics that they have been avoiding the when time in the anime

Some of the side characters are fun but the main pair are too mary sue for my liking. Major flaw in a lot of manga and anime really. The MCs are just not believable

Well are bioengineered people always believable? Since the brother was partially engineered and the sister was made in a lab first in a sense lol...I mean physically Leo ends up being able to withstand more than anyone else...

My Hero Academia characters are way less physically believable but they do a much better job of making them believable...

Sometimes it's not about the characters but how they execute the world and within that storyline they aren't believable mostly since they are both in the less than the .00001% of the world. The brother is one of less than 50 in the world who can do that magic and he is likely the best at the magic in the world...

Main characters in animes almost are always in that low percent of the world they are in. Stories like My Hero Academia are more believable since he isn't the strongest (was the weakest at the beginning) but is aiming to become the strongest without using shortcuts...

That's fair. From the light novels, you find out, it's a mix of genetics and the bioengineering that allows him to process data so heavily... You cannot even do his magic unless you had a very high processing ability... So he is a superhuman computer that can use rare magics and has been taught martial arts since he could crawl, plus only has one emotion...If you are planning a bioengineered human, that fits a good outcome. From that point of view, he can kill all tension in the room lol. He isn't the strongest in the world, but his skillset makes him a demi-god. But his world has a whole bunch of fuckery going on behind the scenes so I guess the world needs him...

Onto other things, what's your list look like for anime going forward?
