Baker Mayfield: Fire The Cannons

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Here's how 538 Ranked qb's last year--

Brissett ELO = 102
Justin Fields ELO = 94
Baker Mayfield ELO = 66

But PFF gives him a 44% chance of rebounding back to an above average QB in 2022

What does rolling averages have to do with comparing Brissett’s 2019 season to Mayfield’s 2021 season?

so I'll reply to my post

of course nothing

lets look at that Nate Silver algo, in the methodology it specifically states that the algo doesn't factor injuries for the QBs. they used Aaron Rodgers in 2017 as an example; ironically his rating was the same as Mayfield's in 2021 (66).

edit: the algo is useless, you might as well change it to LFO

I'm sorry man, but you just need to watch a single game of Brissett to see he is unequivocally worse than Baker Mayfield.

No stats will change that.

I don't really care about Jacoby Brissett's performance on teams which are not the Browns.

Just like I don't care about former quarterbacks who played their way off this roster on and off the field.

I see your argument, I just dgaf.

C’mon, you know he’s trying to pressure a move publicly.
Sure, it's been 3 months, I'm sure he's frustrated.

But with what we know of Baker Mayfield's maturity level, since the Browns made the trade for Watson, I think he's handled the entire situation reasonably.
