Baker Mayfield: Fire The Cannons

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
what happened to those passes Baker used to make so gracefully last year to his receivers whos defenders back was to the ball? we havent seen any of that this season.

He filmed too many commercials and refuses to share the spotlight with Odell

too distracted with sabotage to just play ball

Carl Nassib is a captain for the Buccaneers so not sure I understand your point. At 2-5 the architect deserves

I'm willing to be skeptical about some of Dorsey's moves, but...

I noticed that, besides counting next week as a guaranteed loss, which again isn't without merit, you didn't note the record of the team Nassib is captaining now. It happens to be the same as the record here, with arguably an easier schedule...

Any reason?

Because it isn’t relevant to an individual player in a team sport. Are you suggesting that Myles Garrett wasn’t any good in 2016 since the Browns went 0-16? Doesn’t make any sense.

Not that Myles "wasn't any good," but that as a rookie he did have some growing pains i.e. penalties that helped prevent making it to the first W.

If individual players aren't relevant to Ws and Ls in a team sport, then why tout their captainship, and for that matter, why even acquire them, since the point of the game is to win? You're making the circular argument here; again, just interesting that you juxtaposed him with our [likely] record after next week.

I happen to think QB >>>> trenches > DBs > everyone else in contributing to Ws and Ls, and Vegas appears to agree with me, as even prime JJ Watt/Gronk/etc. are only worth about a point or two in the lines.

Yes, I've probably taken the W/L argument too far at times; I had always been skeptical about OBJ's value, or ANY elite WR i.e. Josh Gordon, because Giants went from 7-9 the year before OBJ to 6-10 both of his first two years, and that his rookie year they were 4-8 with him and 2-2 without him. It's probably a ridiculous argument, although the "we shouldn't have made the trade" rants we see here feel tempting when we struggle.

I'm not making a circular argument. I'm merely pointing out that Dorsey has had a number of hiccups. Carl Nassib perhaps one of them, but also that could have been on Gregg Williams. Carl Nassib isn't his worst mistake. He's made much larger mistakes. It's certainly been a frustrating season and he shares some blame.

I will NEVER forgive him for that

Fucking idiot

Look at this shit. It's so bad it looks photoshopped. Myles makes that play we still get Baker at #1. No 0-16 season. It changes so much shit.

Butterfly effect though dude.

For all we knoe, those kids might have survived that experience in the cave in Thailand in June 2018 because of a chain of events set into place by that offsides play.

Que sera sera my man. Nassib may well be a hero.
