Baker has had 8 head coaches in 6 seasons. Impossible to label him a bottom half QB when he has the least amount of consistency than likely any NFL player over that span.
Bottom line, gotta give the guy credit.
Going to agree to disagree here, I absolutely think you can label him a bottom half QB. Baker has had tremendous coaching change around him, no one can deny that. However; that's not the reason he doesn't play anywhere close to a #1 overall pick. He's ok, he's not bad but he's not all that good either. He's played in 89 out of a possible 98 games and started all but 3 of those games. He's had a lot of opportunities to prove what kind of player he is, and frankly, he's a bottom half of the league starter, but still a starter.
He doesn't have any dominant physical attributes. He's not tall, 6'0. He's not fast, 4.84 40 time.
He has a strong arm but it's not all that accurate.

He can do some things and win you a few games but he's not going to be that long term starter you want leading your team. It isn't the coaching change, in fact, you can make an argument that if he was better, his teams would have been better and he wouldn't have had so many coaching changes.
