Well I figured he'd still be a badass in the extended cut. I just had no idea if the rest of the movie was less shitty around it.
Didn't feel like starting a new thread, not a fan of marvel movies nor do I watch or follow them, always have been a fan of dc movies, but had to say they are just a mess. Got all these different universes, different batman. Forget the shared universe, Easter eggs, focus on good movies. Like the joker movie. Dc has so many good villains you can make villain movies like the joker. A two face movie with the same tone would be great. But I haven't really liked a DC movie in a while. Black Adam was ok, I didn't care for the Batman. And I don't really like James Gunn as a writer or director. Just a shit show.

Personally, I think hiring Gunn to be the shepherd was an amazing move. The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker were the two best things DC has done in a while, and Gunn has been successful with every adaptation he's ever made, from The Walking Dead remake to Scooby Doo to Guardians of the Galaxy to The Suicide Squad.
I’m glad you with them, but I order my movies with heroes to have stakes. Not quips and one liners at intense moments. I’m expecting his Batman to tell jokes.
