Didnt get it then.

Didn’t get it when he was a top ten fantasy pick.

Don’t get it now.

Just imagine if they had drafted Jonathan Taylor.

Or D'Andre Swift.

Or JK Dobbins.

Or Cam Akers.

Or even Antonion Gibson.

The best RB class in a decade and they picked the undersized, slow guy who put up numbers in the best offense in college football history.

I won’t hijack the thread, but Gibson is the best modern back in that class. Absolute star talent level, which will just go to waste in DC.

I love Gibson, but Taylor was by far the best back in last year's class. I think people really overthink these things. Jonathan Taylor was one of the ten best RBs in college football history. He's the only one in the top ten of yardage who did it in three years instead of four. He was an absolutely elite athlete, second only to Saquon Barkley as far as side/speed specimens go in the past ten years.

It took him half a season to find his footing, but once he did he was just shredding teams. He had a game where he had 253 yards rushing. Not all-purpose yards. 253 yards on the ground. It was one of the best rushing games of all time in the NFL.

Fun topic that friends were texting about:

Do you think the 2021 draft being in Cleveland influenced their approach to the draft this year?

Hosting the draft, throwing a community event, and then trading out of the first doesn't seem likely.

Personally, I don’t think Andrew Berry gives a shit about the fans or the local media.

And I dig it.

I doubt it has any barring. It’s a 4 day event and the Browns won’t be picking til 10pm on day 1.
I still think they move up if one of the CBs fall into the late teens/20s.

Who would that be

I'm not sure how Clowney works out this season, but he was more likeable than I expected. Still...
The optimist in me believes he'll be used effectively. If he can do the things I saw him do in 2019, holy shit are we going to be fun to watch on defense. If he can only do the things I saw him do last year, I expect to see him lined up inside a lot, and he'll still be good there.

Yeah, Clowney is A LOT more likable than I thought he'd be. Loved when he mimicked Joe Thomas's stance.
