This team is stacked. Some health question marks in secondary but we've added depth to overcome that.

QB - Top 5-8 in NFL
RB - Top 3 duo in NFL
WR - Depends on OBJ's health but pretty loaded.
TE - Pretty Solid
OL - Good - Great starters at every position, could add depth
DL - A Superstar plus very solid depth around him
LB - Solid depth, looks like a weakness but considering our game plan we'll be Ok. Could draft more depth
CB - This group will look completely different and has loads of potential, could be elite.
S - Getting Delpit back healthy would be huge, and this group can also be pretty special

Not going to sugar coat it... LB group is definitely a weakness and liability as of now but agree with everything else.

Walker and Phillips are your starters with Takitaki and Smith as your backups, and Mack Wilson looking like it might be his last year in the league if he doesn't step up?

Eh, it's not that big of a weakness. I still think we draft one linebacker and let him learn from Walker.

RB is top 1. LB might be worst in the NFL, though.

LB is in no way solid I don’t care what PFF graded taki and Malcolm smith at.

I'm going to try to remain reasonable/tempered:

QB: Very good, potential to be truly great. Probably right around 10th in the league, but can vault up if he picks up where he left off. Capable backup if needed for a short stretch against lesser opponents.

RB: Top notch group in the NFL. There's not a tandem anywhere else I'd rather have.

WR: I'm not as bullish here, but I think they're solid. I feel like Landry and Higgins are the only two guys where you know what you're going to get. DPJ and OBJ are big question marks that could push this group higher if things go well. I'd also like to see Berry add a player to this group, particularly if they make 3 picks today.

TE: I'm actually pretty high on this position group. I think Hooper is better than the board gave him credit for last year, albeit overpaid. Njoku is solid, and I'm a big believer in Harrison Bryant going forward.

OL: Another top notch group in the NFL. For my money, the best, and Wills should look significantly better with a legitimate offseason and training camp coming into year 2.

Interior DL: Again, question marks. I've been critical of moving on from Richardson, and would feel much better if he's brought back. Elliot and Billings could both be legit contributors, but I haven't seen it yet.

EDGE: I'm actually a believer here. We know Myles is as good as anyone, but I think Takk and Clowney will look really good playing alongside him. Living in Houston, I've seen just how truly elite Clowney is against the run, and the Browns need that.

LB: There's not much here, but that's also by design. If Phillips develops, I think we'll feel pretty strong with this group. Walker will be decent, but probably not spectacular. Man, if there were ever a world where the Browns could come up for JOK...

CB: Only question mark for me is health. If healthy, they've got 3 studs ready to go. Teams will struggle to throw on each of them (Ward, Horn, Newsome) with that rush bearing down. If Greedy gives the team anything at all, it's pure gravy.

S: I'm biased because this is my favorite position in football, but I'm of the belief that the Browns are fucking loaded here, with the opportunity to even pick up one more with a value pick this weekend. Johnson is a stud, Harrison looked good despite the challenges of learning on the fly last year, and I looooove me some Grant Delpit. This group absolutely killed the Browns last year, and this year, I think it will be huge strength.

This roster should be as close to a surefire playoff berth as you can get, with plenty of potential to go as far as anyone else...

I hope Mack Wilson shines on special teams this year. I just love his attitude and i get he isnt very good at playing LB and might never be, but I would love to see him stay on the team and maybe ST is the way he can contribute.

I keep seeing people focusing in on our linebackers. I don't really view LB as a "weakness" per say. I think our LB position group isn't as talented as many others but our scheme minimizes the need for a strong group of LBs.

IMO, we'll be just fine with a veteran LB who can diagnose the play and be a leader on the field. If Anthony Walker can be an upgraded version of BJ Goodson then I think we're "solid". I also thought Takitaki made strides - still a long way to go and definitely not good at man coverage, but he seemed to start improving his positioning in zone coverage and took good angles on the ball.

Would it be outstanding to have an all-pro LB? Of course. But the fact of the matter is - we're never going to have elite talent at every position. A strong defensive line, strong secondary, and a linebacker or two that aren't complete idiots should make for a scary defense with the dime scheme that Woods wants to run.

I agree.

I also feel he was a raw, potential guy when he came out, and he seems like he should be athletic enough to contribute.

He just hasn't clicked, and if you play at Alabama and at the NFL level for an extended period of time and it hasn't clicked yet, I'm not sure it ever will.

Sad but true, and I can tell he tries hard and has the athletic ability, just not the natural insticts.

Don’t forget about Malik Jackson who’s pretty good and probably an upgrade over Richardson.

LB depth on paper doesn't look great but considering we are likely to see many sets where there is only 1-2 on the field, the defensive picture becomes much clearer. While none of our current guys wow me, I'd argue that they all have varying skillsets which, if used effectively, will lead to some exciting situational packages.

With that said, I do think that a player like JOK has the potential to cause absolute havoc as a roamer similarly how we had planned to use Delpit had he not gotten injured.

ND is my second team so I've seen a lot of Koramoah. The guy makes plays everywhere on the field and played the biggest role in making their D one of the best in the country last year. lf he were to fall early, I wouldn't be opposed to trading up.

Good?? Good?? It might be the best in the NFL

Nijoku is gonna make a lot of money this year.

Exactly. Anyone who watched other games would know they were without Schwartz for the majority of last year.

LDT comes back from being a goddamn medical hero. Watch them wind up with a haul of like Trent Williams, a veteran G and then take Creed Humphrey in the back of R1.

They'll be fine, do we really not trust Andy Reid and company to field a respectable line with $20mm+ in cap?

The drafting, however, has to improve for them.

Goddamn close, but they had to move back out of 1 to get their LT.

Damn, the Chiefs are going to be so good again.

Dude is a baller.
