Vote and debate on which acquisition you believe was best from a value perspective for players currently on the Browns.

I've removed Baker & Myles from the list because a FQB is invaluable and Garrett was a unanimous #1 overall pick.

I voted for Randall. Getting a pro-bowl level free safety in his prime essentially for free is just insane value.

Other favorites: Higgins in the 5th, Hunt for 1 year minimum, OBJ trade

Mack Wilson is tempting, but it is hard to vote for rookies that have not played a game yet.

The transformation began with the Landry trade, and Landry is the vocal leader of the turnaround. Was he a rip-off? No, but his trade was the template that allowed the rest of the trades. He got my vote.

Randall and it probably isn’t close. I don’t see how Wilson is an option because he’s seemingly such a one-dimensional player and hasn’t produced yet during the regular season. I’d say given his flaws — he was selected in a fair slot. That’s just me though.

Gotta be Hunt IMO. Signed a 24 year old Pro Bowl superstar for $1M.

If he sticks, we sign him...great.

If he leaves, we can put a 1st, 2nd or Original Round tender on him.

Excellent value.

rookies/first year browns shouldnt be on this list.

If OBJ tears his ACL tomorrow, and develops a staff infection which leads him to never playing a game for the browns... well this poll looks pretty dumb.

that said i have randall first, with landry a close 2nd. I think the actual deal for landry was a better deal, but the browns had to pay him as a number 1 WR, which soured it a bit.

Jarvis was the beginning of all of this, and while he’s a very good player, his play on-the-field doesn’t account for even half of the total value he’s brought to the Cleveland Browns. His leadership, culture changing attitude...shit, his relationship with Odell Beckham Jr.

For a damn 4th and a 7th round pick.

@Douglar . @MGMT . @bob2the2nd

Yeah, for the guys who haven't played for the Browns yet (especially rookies), we are projecting here.

People talk about value during the draft, this isn't any different.

Value is a subjective thing, which is why I created this thread. It's something I thought about the other day and thought would be an interesting discussion. Randall was definitely my #1, but I think there's a good argument to be made for a lot of these guys.

Also, Schobert should be an option.
Good point, though I'm not sure which I'd replace. Maybe Mitchell? Or Wilson? Honestly though I think Mitchell is a better player at a more important position making only $4 million APY. And I'm high on Wilson. I certainly understand an argument for Schobert, though. I probably had some bias not including him because I don't think he'll be on this team next year.

@Randolphkeys . @chrisrich91 great points about Landry.

We stole a Pro-Bowl caliber safety for a pick swap and a trash QB that isn't even on the team we traded him to anymore.

Easy choice.

Hunt. A pro bowler in his prime for the vet min is incredible value
