What was that part at the end of the McCarthy vid where the family needs the NFL that went unexplained by him in that video.

Struck me as odd. Was this explained in something I didn’t see?

Yes, the wife noticed that the big checks are no longer showing up in her checking account, thus "the family " needs the NFL.

We all laughed at Cards hiring Kingsbury, now he's on the verge of beating the guy we all accepted and thought was the man for the job.

Freddie is a must fire now. He's simply not fit.

And Wilks. Shouldn’t make it the season.Had no business getting a job here.

Yeah, bout time to go ahead and admit that Kitchens was a large scale mistake.

Pox on Dorsey and Haslam’s houses right now.

They’ve fucked this up twice now.

Have Hue come back an extra year, hire a guy with no tangible experience after five minutes of good play.

I didn't laugh. Just shoulder shrugged.

It's pretty blatant. There's talent on this roster. Perhaps the most since, the mid 90s or so.

Dude has them ill prepared week after week, fails to make adjustments and has consistently made baffling playcalls.

It sucks. Let's not sugar coat it.

There's no real reason to keep him.
I would understand if there were players sticking up for him or perhaps some sort of misfortune during the year could be pointed out.

I don't fucking know anymore. Fire him. Throw cash at an actual good coach and then let's move on with our lives going through this pathetic charade.

I'm not convinced Kitchens will be fired, but if he is, here's a list of pretty much any possible candidate broken down into three tiers.

(*) indicates candidate previously interviewed with Browns within the team's last two hiring cycles.

Also worth noting, the Browns also interviewed these five NFL head coaches within their last two coaching hire cycles: Matt Patricia (Lions), Doug Marrone (Jaguars), Sean McDermott (Bills), Adam Gase (Jets), Brian Flores (Dolphins).

Lincoln Riley obviously intrigues me, but he is Dallas bound if he leave Oklahoma.

One name for OC that I could get on board with is Byron Leftwich. The Bucs are 2nd in YPG & 3rd in PPG all with Famous Jameis turning the ball over as per usual. I think if you get a great OL coach to instill discipline you will minimize our penalties and move the ball down the field.

I think Freddie could be a good HC cheerleader, but I dont know how damaged his relationship with players who actually matter. get an OC that can spread the ball around, get an OL coach who can erase penalties, and get a OL that will hold up and we will be a prolific offense.

I wonder if kubiak wants to return to coaching? I know he’s had some health issues but he took a job in minny this year and they look better than before he got there. He could bring his son over to be the “OC” run a ZBS and run the hell out of Chubb and hunt. He’s a professional coach who can make us respectable.

If the Browns don't get downright embarrassed by the Ravens + lose to the Bengals, I think people are going to be surprised to see that the Browns end up sticking with Freddie.

Don't get your hopes up for a coaching change..
