Browns hire Andrew Berry

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
On point #2... how do we know that’s actually true? That’s something that’s way easy for the Browns brass to make up after the fact.
Charles admittedly hasn't had the best pulse on the Browns this off-season, but is one of the most reliable voices in the industry. If push comes to shove and the local shitstorm is reporting how disgusted Paton was with us, I'll take Charles Robinson's word without the slightest hesitation. I wouldn't be surprised if it plays out like that either, as we are about to enter the optimism phase of the off-season, which isn't the best environment for our local beat reporters.

It's really weird.

It's like people think just because someone is for analytics, it means he never played a down and doesn't know shit about football.

I think it's a narrative driven by old school football guys who resist change and don't want to become obsolete.

The amount of times people drive with an unsealed bottle of alcohol is probably a lot higher than people give credit.

Unsealed, in other words a .75 liter bottle that has been opened once.

I had a bottle of rum in my trunk for months during the summer from weekend parties.

The questions that should be asked in this case is: Did he act drunk? Did he smell of alcohol? Did they find an actual drink within his reach? Did the officer feel the need for a sobriety test?

Unsealed containers are add-on charges usually used against people under the influence, and to especially harass underage kids.

Yup. I occasionally drive with unsealed bottles of whiskey if I am bringing a bottle to a friend's place to let him try it.

That being said, it's a bad look for a guy who has had multiple incidents of drunken fights and is already on a short leash. Same with the weed in the car.

It was more than just weed
Jesus dude. I know it’s just a little bit of weed, I know it’s just a bottle of vodka in the backseat. But what the hell. He’s crying that he never does anything wrong. He said there was nothing else other than a traffic ticket. When there was weed in the car. The dude is just an idiot. He’s a liar. He missed an entire year for the incident with the lady at the hotel, and then admits he would fail a drug test.
At first I was okay with this, but this video makes me realize he still doesn’t get it. It sucks because he knows he Fd up. Yet, he still does dumb shit.

Regardless of the specifics, it still probably shouldn't be done by a guy who entered anger & alcohol counseling due to the infamous incident and who's trying to rehab his image & regain the trust of the league..

No, it shouldn’t. Put a 2nd round tender on him and pray to god someone tries to sign him and then let him walk.
We need to change the culture. We don’t need knuckleheads like him around. We already have a drama queen on the team, no need for criminals too.
