Caitlin Clark

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I haven't seen her play yet. I occasionally watch the WNBA, but I haven't really seen a player since the days of Cynthia Cooper whom I'd like to see play regularly. I guess I'll have to check her game out.

You really do need to see her, she was having an off day the other day, but her shooting is just amazing,. She in my eyes is a Steph level shooter. I dont watch a ton of female basketball, but she is a must see if you are a basketball fan.

This was an interesting watch. No idea how credible these hypotheses are, just popped up in my feed.

Very credible. You saw the Swoops interview. She lied about her record on tv, there will be a ton of haters and she will be extremely hazed by the other players. I didnt realize she is straight, it shouldnt matter her sexual identity or race, but in the WNBA it will matter allot.

Huge pass on Caitlin. That schnozz is too much. I watch her play a brand of a version of a sport I’ve never taken seriously though.
That bitch Angel. Coach is just as bad.
This aggressive of an opinion tells me women’s basketball is headed in the right direction.

If Angel Reese, LSU women’s college basketball player, is known enough to be a villain to some people, they’re getting the runway they need to give it a chance to take off.

I think @The Oi is right. Literally every star has haters. There is a cultural issue here that will have be reckoned with among players and media, but the video clearly has a tilt in the way the channel talks about the WNBA, women in sports, feminism, etc. (though probably best not to get into all that since we can’t have a thread about a woman here without it devolving into a discussion on fuckability).

The idea that the league will destroy Clark instead of treating her like a star is nonsense. The league was happy to capitalize on the Ionescu shootout. Clark is already in tons of commercials, she’s too big a star to be held back by player All-Star votes or whatever. Remember when Isaiah Thomas said Bird was only getting attention for being white? That sure tanked Larry Legend.
