Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I’ve played basketball my whole life at a decently high level and still so in my mid 30s, as I navigate my amateur career in mma, which I love to do and compete for fun, which I hope to do until mid 40s as basketball gets harder.
That’s impressive.

Maybe once you hit your mid-40s you won’t be such a baby back bitch about women’s sports.

I've noticed a stark correlation between MMA fans and an intolerance for women in my decades of experience in sports.

I don’t feel like going back to read my initial post, but I don’t care if people enjoy watching women sports. I don’t care what people like to watch. I don’t want to see men’s pickleball on espn. I just hate that what I feel is unwatchable gets so much airtime. If it was men’s pickleball on all day instead of men’s college ball I’d feel the same. Text is harder to pick up on tone, but it’s not that big a deal. I can simply change the channel. I just get upset when mend sports is degraded to prop up women’s sports. Why can’t they both have their lane? Anytime there’s a dominant be female she’s hailed at being better than men. In fighting, basketball, any sport.

There are far more men degrading woman's sports then men's sports being degrading. Even you backing off seems like a stretch men's sports are being degraded.

And I agree, there arent many woman's sports I enjoy watching. Gymnastics, tennis, some basketball but the list is shorter. But choosing what you watch vs feeling men's sports are actually degraded is a huuuuuuge stretch in my opinion.

I just feel you don’t have to say so and so can compete with men just because she dominates women. Why can’t she just be the best female in the sport? At the same time if a woman “can” do the job just as well as men she deserves that chance. Eventually there will be an nba female coach and I’m ok with that. You have female bosses all the time.

So because some people say she could compete in the NBA you have the need to "defend" men's sports? Seriously this doesnt feel like misplaced misogyny to you? Some would call toxic but honestly hate the term.

Having the need to argue against her is like telling the high school freshman he is the best basketball player in the world and could beat any NBA player. He is just proud and being boastful.

Take your own advice, if someone is saying that, for what ever reason, pride, misguided difference in how good NBA players are, what ever reason, just change the channel, walk away, no good is going to come of defending men's sports, or feeling they are being degraded, because the audacity that they feel a woman can compete,

Nothing wont make what you are saying feel slightly icky and in general misogynistic. Walk away.

I don't care if she can compete with men, she shouldn't.

Start a co-ed league if you want.

The NBA is men's basketball. It ain't rocket science, bois.

There is a lot of crybaby mentality like this from men who likely did not play and can't figure out how to see this on television without complaining.

Being too inept to find men's sports is a problem that doesn't pertain to anyone else, so its tough to watch men who can't take such a basement level of accountability in their personal life.

I think @Thelastcavsfan just low-key hinted that he could kick @AZ_ 's ass after he got called a crybaby and inept!

The good thing for Clark is that she's likely going to have enough in endorsements to offset the lower salary, and in the meantime, we can see if she and some other women can build up that league enough so that it makes sense to pay players more money.

Bill Barr was right when he said it, but I guess he'd love to have things change so that the women's game gets more support.

Actually, it isn't. Nor are either the NFL or MLB males-only by rule. The NBA is open to both men and women, and there have been women try out for NBA teams or play on a summer league squad. None of them made it to the regular season squads, though. Ann Meyers and Nancy Lieberman come to mind, though maybe there are a few more.

Well that's just laughable then. It's not a men's league but only men have EVER played? Ridiculous lol.

So, the W-NBA......IS a women's league? Lol

Feelings getting in the way, IMO.

Some men are very emotional and do tend to have unhealthy relationships with sports and women alike.

You live in America, so you can pretty much pick any type of content to watch at any moment in time. You're getting upset because men lift up women's sports and women enjoy men's sports, which seems out of touch.

Don't see any dominant female being hailed as better than men, I see 100x more men feeling insecure about that narrative though.

The WNBA IS a "women's league" by rule. The NBA is not a male only league.

I just find women in sports to be ungrateful. You have wnba players for years complaining about their pay, when nobody wanted to watch. Clark or anyone deserves all that is owed to them. I can create a channel making my favorite meals but can’t complain I’m not getting paid like Gordon Ramsey if no one watches.
