Cavaliers Trade Ideas: 2022-23 regular season edition

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Cleveland receives: Joe Harris, Dorian-Finney Smith, Royce O'neal & Seth Curry
Brooklyn receives: Kevin Love & Caris LeVert

Why?
Cleveland needs wings. They solve that issue in this trade & add shooters as well.
Brooklyn sheds salary in order to re-sign Cam Johnson.

Time is running out and Cavs still havent made any moves at all.
Things probably happening, but Woj had to take a nap after staying up so late, and every other reporter is inept it seems.

Cavs recieve: Luka Doncic
Mavs recieve: Love, Cedi

Get off your hands Ferry

I can't wait for our upcoming season saving trade for a good SF!

There isn't a trade that we could have realistically made that moves the needle enough. Is this a surprise to you?

Considering what trades were made, I think Koby could've gotten creative. I'm not mad we stood pat, but I definitely wouldn't have minded them doing *something* to keep up with everyone else. Bey, Kennard, Bamba, etc all were moved for things the Cavaliers could've done.

Cavs top deadline acquisition will be Windler! He’ll be back after all star break to be the wing we always needed lol

Look at the value trades for Bay,Bamba and some others. These trades were absolutely real if we had a GM,but whoever we have ,can only trade best assests to get something good.Good GM is making good trade out of bad, that what makes him good. You dont need much brains to do “obvious trades”.For 5 years he havent done anything except last trade for Spida, for everything else we were giving either too much or having too little,or both.

Bey in particular is someone that I'm not sure why they didn't look into. I just don't think we had anything that they really wanted tbh.

What were you realistically going to offer for the players you mentioned above? No one wants scraps. We didn't have the players needed to get these guys and dangling expiring contracts isn't enticing to teams like Detroit or Orlando.
