Cavs summer league team

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The site crashed during the end of the game?

Anyway, Cavs really got screwed on some bad calls at the end. There were bad calls the whole game, but the calls at the end put the nail in the coffin. Like Game 1 of the Finals all over again.

Overall, great game though. Love the passion that Sexton plays with. Hope we give him a lot of room to grow and make mistakes during the season.
Yeah, the end and OT were the most ridiculous calls I’ve ever seen. Hart actually should’ve fouled out on a charge that Young Bull drew, and Chauncey agreed.

Also, constant sweeping to ice Sexton at the end of OT1 when he was trying to shoot free throws. That was intentionally done. The refs lost control of this one.

Oh wow. Yeah, I kinda skipped forward when they took this mini break when Sexton was at the line. Now that you mention it, it does seem intentional.

What you are basically telling me is that the SL are also fucking rigged. They had no reason to sweep the floor like that for so long...they wanted him to take him out of rhythm. Refs lost control thought? seemed like they were part of this bullshit.

And lmao, Hart pissed me off. He started to imitate Lebron James...did you see that? this guy was shrugging his shoulders when he blocked a shot just like Lebron. Lue was even laughing that he was mimicking Lebron's shrugging of the shoulders. I'll clip that later today...that was funny.

Hart was really feeling himself ah? This boy would have been locked down by Cedi. He is exactly that type of player to lock a player like Hart down.

I went to youtube to see something on the game's highlights, and oh man, Lakers fans are in full force in the comment section. They mentioned that Kuzma, Lonzo, Caruso and Wagner weren't playing and yet they still won. Someone mentioned that Cedi and Zizic weren't playing either, and then Lakers fans one by one started calling them scrubs. Damn, a big part in me really wished we played at least one of them to shut those fools and even show the casual fan that those guys are legit, and that Cedi is better than their boy Hart.

I’ll tell you what, I like Josh Hart as a player.

Watch his post-game interview where he raves about Young Bull and how good he’s going to be and you might have more respect for him.

I think you have to respect these two—in freaking summer league—taking the challenge in OT and trying to lock one another up on the defensive end.

Very impressive summer league for the young bull. He’s 19 years old and will only get better from here. Dude has heart, poise and a ton of grit. If Love gets back to Minny Love, add in Sexton,Cedi, Hood, Nance and Zizic we’re right back in the playoffs. I don’t really agree with that but I think that’s the route we’re taking. It could all fall apart and we end up trading Love at the deadline but chances of that are slim.

I liked him at Nova, and I think he is a nice player...I even wanted to draft him.

I just think he is feeling himself a bit too much right now. And I wanted to win this and we should have won this one down 2 of our best players. Our defense was really shitty.

Specifically, our interior defense was garbage from the bigs.

Kind of sucks but the Lakers have some very talented young guys. Hart, Svi and Wagner all played well in summer league and they still have Kuzma, Ingram and Ball. If a couple of these guys make a big jump they’ll be pretty good and will easily challenge Houston.

Ball/Rondo
Pope/Hart/Svi
Lebron/Lance
Ingram/Kuzma
McGee/Wagner

Aside from the center position that’s pretty dang good if a couple young guys turn into stars.

Played Vladimir way too much...his PnR defense was absolutely shitty and couldn't cover for our perimeter defense one bit.

Sexton was visibly very tired and had trouble defending the PnR. Artis is a bad defender and just couldn't check Hart at all, and Holland had trouble staying with Svi coming off screens.

They totally missed the call when the ball first went off Sexton but it was deflected off the Faker layer..Posey should have challenged that call..the angle showed it..totally missed.
It was a interesting game..Sexton has a lot of game..that release of his needs work.
Preston's double pump 3 was clutch.

I’m very curious what they do with Kuzma.

I think LeBron is going to play a lot of 4 in LA, and there’s absolutely no way they can get away with playing Kuzma as a small-ball five defensively.

He’s the odd man out.

May as well trade him... to Cleveland... with Hart and Deng for Love.

Great summer league for the young Cavs especially Sexton. That kid has the tools to be a top tier point guard. I enjoyed how Lue was really excited about him. If Cedi and Z would have played this game is the Cavs.

Still all in all a very good Summer League outing.

I do not think you would get both but I might consider one of them and deng, and maybe a pick thrown in

I actually think this ending to summer league might be the best to keep Sexton hungry. I can see Sexton spending the next 2.5 months making sure when he is in a position to win a game like that, that he will. I'm not saying he wasn't going to be motivated before, you can tell that he is always going to be motivated but this just gives him that little extra to keep him going in the coming months.

I hope the front office gets a good group of guys to fight for that last 3 roster spots and 2 way contract. Guys that will be at Cleveland Clinic Courts every day with Sexton and the other young guys. I want a Delly type PG to go up against Sexton and enough guys so they can go 5-on-5 for the next 2.5 months.
