Loved the overall performance. I just saw the Minnesota Wally. Finally MB didn't do some crazy lineups and didn't rest the core (especially LeOverrated) in the 3rd where we always fail. Props!

Playing the Wizards is making our guys gel quicker than they could ever have hoped to. When you unite a bunch of guys together with some hatred towards another team, man do they gel quickly. This is the best thing that could have ever happened to us - having these idiots on teh Wizards run their mouth and make us gel just in time for the playoffs. I love it!

Tonight was the best game I've seen us play since the big trade. Not only was everyone playing great, but the passing was awesome and the team just seemed like exactly that - a TEAM!

He wasn't saying it as if hes not giving credit, hes just stating the obvious to some of the viewers that really don't know what playoff basketball is all about, I have no problem with that comment.

Keep in mind that it's coming from Reggie Miller, a guy who's hero was MJ. Hell, anyone can stick out their tongue out and shoot a jay.

Excellent post. The team chemistry was such that it makes the Spurs cohesiveness look like a disfunctional family in a nut house.

I have been giving this some thought, but never had any conclusive evidence until now. I think Mike Brown uses the season as his testing ground, much like Popovich does. He wants to win season games, but he is trying to figure things out, see what happens, and give himself some info so he can make decisions during the playoffs.

For example, no AV/Wallace combos unless it is for a defensive possesion. Devin Brown a bench player. West played well as a starter, so he never went away from it. Brown just wants to see what happens. He just wants to make sure a player is a bench player or a starter. I think the Wally thing was a toss up because he was going to give Pavs the starting job, but he also knew Wally wasn't good off the bench.

That is my theory.

We just need to keep our rotation....Not any changes....Wally is comfortable when he is starting....All guys need to keep playing their roles...And thats the key....Finally MB is doing good job with rotation....

Have to agree as well, it seems everything is clicking together at just the right moment. Who would've thought this team would gel this QUICKLY after being shifted around in lineups and injuries, etc.

Like I said before, Gibson and Wally need to keep doing this.. If they do, I fail to see how we lose any games to be honest. When we play defense like we did in the third, it's unlikely we ever lose a game either. This was such a game we needed, and it we win game 3.. This team will blow out.

I agree with you though. Starting Wally was the best thing for us, and Mike Brown had to know his numbers as a starter where better. It was a very risky move IMO to throw him into the starting role after not even playing much before hand, but I'm glad he did.

Yea....When Sasha get back he need to come of the bench....Wally is doing fine and will get better.....He talks everyone during his career that he is more comfortable when he starts...Just look what he did?Caron Butler is all-start player and cant do nothing against Wally.....Just look man...He will play better and stronger in next games....Wally is getting back....This was a fantastic game....MB knows something about real wally...I feel a lot better after those home games...Now i know that we are serious contender.....

We need to do this on the road to gain some real confidence. We have been terrible outside of the Q since the trade. Now is the time to change that.

This series is over. May take 5 or 6 games but it's done.

One of the best Cavs performances of the season. Took it to the Wizards, got them down, didn't let them back up and put it away. Great to see the Cavs do that since they have a habit of letting teams back into games.

Another great performance by LeBron. Only bad thing was missed FT's and a terrible stretch of basketball at the end of the 3rd qtr. Can't get on him for that too much though.

Z continues to play great basketball. Wally looking solid although when he's shooting well it would be nice to not have him go virtaully the whole 3rd qtr without a shot attempt.
Boobie has his stroke back which is huge. Wallace better and nice to see Varejao more under control and playing the way he's supposed to play.

Glad to see Brenda Haywood tossed out. Cheap shot that could really hurt a player. No attempt to defend or go after the ball at all.

Stevenson and Arenas really backing up all their talk.

I will not lie you....He didnt play that kind of good D in last 5 years....Now he is stopping good players...About offense he shoots 6-9 and thats old wally....He need comfort.....He need to know that he is a starter,that he will get open shoots and easy layups....And then you can see this picture of Wally....He is playing very good....If MB decide to put him on the bench he will lost all his confidence and then we will go down....I like when he and Boobie are hitting shoots....We need less Devin,more Wally,Boobie and Dj...Then our offense will go on...I am also pleased how Joe,Z,Ben and Andy can play....Thats real Cavs....Keep this rotation and we can maybe beat Celtics....

100% agree.

Cavs couldn't beat teams like MIL or CHI on the road since the playoffs. They bring the same execution and intensity on the road - then we're getting somewhere and have a legit shot at knocking off Boston
