AND he was driving the bus... during a pandemic!

I am guessing you think all white people look alike because that was Gary Barnidge with a beard driving the bus. In fact, Barnidge ending up changing the tire when it got a flat and changed the oil while at it just for good measure.

I heard he tapped the geyser and refined the oil with his bare hands.

I think we need to explore the trade market for safeties. Even if Delpit was healthy, safety would need to be addressed.

I don’t want to give up a 1st, but if we can get a legitimate safety that will be here for several years, I wouldn’t be opposed to a 2nd or 3rd for the right player.

Whether we do it now or in the offseason it needs to happen. If trading for a safety now helps us win another game or two and sneak into the playoffs it would 100% be worth it.

Not really looking forward to watching the Dallas game next week. I have a feeling they’re about to blow our doors off with how our secondary has looked.

We did trade for a decent safety recently. We dont want to give up too much draft capital for filling a temporary hole when our team isnt ready to compete for a title yet. The move is to pick up Earl Thomas for nothing but cash, but no one has so there is probably something that is worse than we even know, and not showing up on time to meetings is really bad along with a really bad attitude.

The Browns have more 20+ yard runs than any team in the NFL (six) and Chubb and Hunt are tied with each other for more “first downs over expected” than any other player (4).

The thing about this system is that it prioritizes explosive runs. The running game in this system gains yards like a passing game. That’s why it is so impactful.

I just cant believe for the 2nd game in a row that i have no complaints about any in game coaching decisions...a few minor things i guess, but nothing major. This isnt Browns football is it?

Stefanski is the real deal. I LOVED the hire at the time, but this entire season (even the first week) is way overperforming my expectations. After that fake punt, the playcalling has been as close to perfect as you can get in the NFL.

I do too. He really is slowing the game down for Baker. Playing to his strengths, getting him out in space, giving him 2 read 3 and 5 step passes. Going deep when you dont expect it. Running receivers open with underneath routes, using our receiving talent appropriately. He puts OBJ in the slot to run Landry underneath on a one cut no safety help route, or he runs OBJ underneath on a crossing route with a natural pick to get OBJ open,.

Then there is the running attack. He runs the same play if it worked the first time, crazy. If Chubb missed a cutback, the next series you see the same play but Chubb is aware to look for the cutback,,,that is coach. The lead pulling guard trap plays are amazing with the wide splits. So well designed, so well coached. For a run its a long developing play, but we have 2 very patient but explosive running backs, perfect for the zone blocking scheme which needs to wait for the running lanes to develop.

The defense shows promise too. We are missing allot on defense, and when healthy we will have issues at linebacker and safety. But Myles is a disrupter, we know we have issues in the secondary but have a good DL so we dont blitz much letting the line get to the qb on its on and leaving max coverage, Best you can hope for with our personnel. The coaching is amazing. I want to say wait for one more offseason, but fuck that, i am going to enjoy this season no matter our record, i see improvement from a young team that is being coached well.

I still feel like we aren't getting open receivers. Don't know if it's because of Baker's vision or because of the routes we are running. Maybe it's just me but I feel like we aren't running or connecting on many slant routes, and I hate flat routes by WR's.

I wouldn’t trade assets for a short term solution. That’s why I said a guy that would be able to be here for a few years, similar to what the Steelers did last year for Minkah. I just wouldn’t trade a 1st in the event Baker completely flops and we need to draft a QB, but I’d trade a 2nd or 3rd for a guy that’ll help us the next couple years..

We can sign Eric Reid tomorrow.

He just played well For The Panthers last season. There's no reason why he can't play right now.

He’s being black balled like Kaep. Take a look into his story and why he’s no longer with the Panthers.
