If he scores 22pts tomorrow he will overtake the great Ricky Davis and move into 40th on our all time scoring list. He is quickly chasing down Boobie, Mo and Drew Gooden.

He needs to score point 22 by throwing the ball off the backboard and catching it for a slam to try and give himself a rebound, assist and 2 points to honor the great Ricky Davis.

Pull that off and Sexton becomes my hero.

If,he scores 20 points tonight, he'll break Lebron's record of scoring 20+points in consecutive games in a season.

He gets to the hole so effortlessly. I cant quite figure it out. He doesn't seem to have an Iverson level step, or handles like Kyrie or Dame, or overwhelming size like Lebron. But there it is, night in and night out, he just blows by people, or steps back for a three.

You cant argue with his success, scoring or overwhelming efficiency this year...and really last year too. Kind of an enigma to me how he does it, but hey just keep doing it kid, I do love your game, even his assists are in line with where they should be for his role and the defense is coming around to average at this point and might end up a plus defender in a year or two.

He doesn't really score in bunches. He'll score 6 or 8 points here and there. Then, try to get his teammates involve for a little while, score 4-6 quick points and etc..By,the time you look up,he has over 20 points....

I am curious if he is going to have many 30 pt or 40 pt games. Usually those are from a super hot high efficiency night. He seems so consistent with his percentages and scoring. He just gets 20-25 every night. He almost never scores 9. So maybe there isn't much room for him to score 30?

I can't believe he is going to beat Lebron for 20pt consecutive games. Maybe he won't and will suck tonight, but that almost never happens where he can't get 20 even against good teams. Clippers is the only game I can think of that sort of successfully kept him from scoring close to average. He is super even keeled. I guess because he is so relentless.

There isn't room for him to have many 40 point games when the centers are going 10-25 from the floor every night. Better shot selection by the bigs would open up more shots for other guys.

I think,he could get 30 or 40 points easily but I think he prefers to get his teammates involve. Sometimes,I think he's too passive,if that's hard to believe when the team as a whole can't score...That's when he should be taking over to get the team going again. For whatever reason, the team continues to give it to Drummond or Cedi.

His improvement on the defensive end is incredibly important. Seems like his improved strength has lead to more physicality, and that has been huge.

It's crazy, you have people still criticizing about his defense. I don't understand it.

Something interesting I saw in the Athletic today. Colin has an insane make rate on open 3s (46% or so) and is above average on contested ones (33%). He is a top 5 shooter in terms of estimated field goal percentage now. I kind of wish he took more 3s but I bet that contested % improves over the next few years

Yeah he definitely needs to take more. He went from having bad shot selection to having great shot selection pretty quickly. Totally agree he needs to take more 3s. It will open up his drive game even more.

Heard Matt Moore on the Chasedown podcast say that he has scored 27 pts on 24 floater possessions which is awesome. He seems to be able to get there any time and teams can't take that away from him without giving him a 3 or a layup. He almost has an offensively complete game. He needs to perfect passing out of the double and that will be about it. Work on defense and playmaking.
