Yeah so far the drive and kick has been decent for him. I haven't seen him take Kyrie level difficult shots over the double team yet, but that could be coming for all I know as he gets more aggressive. It was big fault of both Dion and Kyrie that they would take the more difficult shot at the rim instead of the easy pass to the big.
@LeeBuckeye is right as well. Collin isn't shooting badly from 3, when he does take it. He need to increase his attempts from there. Especially when they are laying way back like that.
It would be good if he had some elite NBA skills already like Doncic or even passing ability like Young, but getting incrementally better at a few things seems pretty doable for him. He has already shown growth.
Think our 3PA have gone up since Drew took over? well, at least it looks like the players want to shoot it more if that makes sense. They look more confident and willing.
Collin is more decisive pulling up and certainly Rodney Hood. Rodney looks way better in that department now. It does loo like we take less mid range shots now, no?
Maybe it would help if Kardashian was willing to set a screen for the guy like he used to do for his pals KI and LJ.
Good game from Collin. Did some of the things I've been waiting to see.
I'm still on Dennis Schroeder/Tony Parker-level for his ceiling. But he's pushed past Ramon Sessions floor hopefully.
It does. They still need to take more, but we will see. A ton of guys who can shoot are out, so it's not fair to judge yet.
I think it is hard to hate on Drew for how he is handling Sexton. He seems to know he needs fewer Clarkson minutes.

Darn right we would!I'd take Tony Parker lol.
I think there are a few levels between Dennis Schroeder and Tony Parker but I get your point lol

His offensive potential is high if he develops his mid range pull up.....that is currently destroying his shooting efficiency.
He's actually finishing OK at the rim for a first year guard (52.9%).....by comparison, Chris Paul was (53.1%) as a rookie but his 16-23' is just god awful at 35.7%. Those midrange shots account for over 1/3rd of his FG attempts through 12 games. If he can either improve on that percentage or merely cut them out, he has the potential to see a nice uptick in scoring efficiency.
That's very interesting. Wasn't the mid-range his strong suit in college?

In college, 17% of his shot attempts were long midrange, and 30% were threes.
This year those percentages have basically flipped, as 36% of his shot attempts have been long midrange, and only 13% have been threes.
